Service and atmosphere are great. The food is great. However, it seems the portions keep getting smaller.

Ordered takeout. Portions were small, food was not good. General chicken was the worst, threw it away. The only positive was the fortune cookie. Will not be going back.

No matter how many side orders of fried rice we pay for, we only get one. Three dishes with rice, three extra charges for pork fried rice… one container of rice. Last time? Two dishes with a side of rice, two extra charges to get pork fried rice… one container of rice.

We are from Kent, originally going to Engs Chinese restaurant. But they closed their doors years ago. Before that it was Red Lotus in Auburn and The Ming Tree in Bellevue, where I was raised. But on my son’s birthday, we wanted to find another restaurant with the same family-style food that our previous restaurants provided. We came to Issaquah to pick up a family member and going back towards H18 from Front Street was bumper to bumper traffic. So what did we do? Started calling local Chinese restaurants…and we found Chans Place on Klahanie Drive. BEST Chinese food ever and is now our go-to place.

This restaurant is great, the only problem is the woman who showed up at the bar who was not a bartender. She was being very rude and not allowing to serve more than beer and wine, apart from that, she had a very rude attitude towards us. That was the only problem, besides that, the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing, fire that person, though. seriously.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I now see why they are never that busy. The lady up front is very rude. They make food very slow. I will never come here again.

I ordered pickup with 3 dishes and all 3 were terrible. Other Chinese restaurants in the area have way better food that costs about 20% less.

Chan's is a good, American style Chinese restaurant that is conveniently located in klahanie shopping center. It is great when you are craving American Chinese food. Don't even think about going down the hill to Panda Express! I also like Chan's more than August Moon. My favorite dishes are chicken fried rice and sweet sour pork/chicken. Their mandarin chicken is also very good. The szechuan tofu should not be confused with mapo tofu but it's good.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food has always been pretty good but more recently. The prices have gone up and it's gotten to be quite ridiculous $15 for fried rice is a bit much I think we'll find a. New chinese food place
The food it's delicious and price are goodI highly recommend this placeI can say it's the best place for lunch in Klahanie area
Clean comfortable atmosphere, great service, food not overly seasoned or greasy. Decent fried rice!
Good food, friendly staff, very reasonable drink prices.
Didn't have a good experience dinning in....Pan fried noodles with chicken was awful... basically top ramen noodles that had been fried and then smoothened in gallon of some sauce...yuck. Veggies were perfect, chicken was almost not existent like maybe 2 or 3 ounces.... quality of food just wasn't there this time.I have had takeout before and it was very good.
