Usually we enjoy the pizza but for some reason the pizza we got wasn’t very good. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with green pepper. The pepperoni was almost non existent, limited green pepper, and worst of all: the sauce and cheese were only in the middle of the pizza. Almost a two to 3 inch area all around the edge of the pizza with nothing but crispy dough. No flavor. If it wasn’t a take out, I would have refused it but didn’t discover how bad it was until I got home.

Passing through, got a medium combo with pepperoni and sausage. Service was good for take out. The pizza looked great, had plenty of toppings and a great crunch to the crust. But the sauce….man what a miss. No seasoning, no flavor, maybe just straight tomato sauce. Seems to be a common complaint in the reviews. Don’t know why you wouldn’t spend a few hours figuring it out. Everything else seemed on par for a beachside pizza joint.

We live this pizza, sadly Chicos can not read the special instructions added twice on the online order form. Three times we have ordered this for takeout and every time they have made it wrong… They always offer to remake it, problem is, people are waiting for their food and do not want to wait another 15/20 minutes! Please do not allow special orders if you can not follow simple instructions… Adios Chico!

Nice little pizzeria on the Long Beach Peninsula. We have ordered several pizzas over the last couple of months and they were pretty tasty, in general. I will say, however, they are very light on the marinara pizza sauce- I could barely taste it on any of the pizza varieties we tried. Just saying...They have an awesome salad bar which we all thought was a great value.

I did take out. Ordered a simple pepperoni pizza so kind of hard to mess that up. Was ready when I stopped by to pick it up and the workers I bought it for seemed to enjoy it.
We love Chico's! Crust is great, not thick. Sauce is tasty. Try a Larry. Great place to sit,chat, and listen to the staff singing while preparing your pizza. There is a small salad bar. Beer & soda(Coke products) Some arcade games. Go check it out.

If you're taking phone orders assume people are using Google maps or web to see your menu. Ordered a jumbo and the gal on the phone abruptly and impolitely let me know jumbo isn't an option anymore......update your internet view into you menu. Large pepperoni pizza had more sauce than pepperoni.....thin crust had good texture and crunch but needed more pepperoni.

I'm a Taco Pizza guy and I went there right when they re-opened and was disappointed because it seemed to have changed. However, we there just recently and it's way better. In fact, one of the better Taco pizzas I've had. It was a to go order and they didn't add the extra salsa or sour cream so make sure you ask.
