Had breakfast there this morning. The food and service were great. The building is a large open space but was warm. I was wearing a t-shirt and was comfortable despite it being 40 degrees outside. We’ll definitely go back again.

We have been coming here for a few months as we were really missing Iron Skillet. Food was sub-par, bland and unappetizing in appearance. Staff is super friendly and prompt. Very apologetic you you speak up and say something isn't correct or distasteful. Menu is minimal. Sadly the appearance of the place is boring.It seems they just do bare minimum all the way around. If they put forth the effort to wow their customers it might help. Get a new cook for sure though. We discovered another cafe nearby. That place has the WOW factor. ☺️

Wow! This was a second choice, due to my first suggestion being closed. I looked for a mom and pop diner. This place came up, and boy am I glad it did. Portion sizes were huge. Food was cooked perfectly. The staff was not right on top of us, but came by regularly to see if we needed anything. Drinks were never empty. The biscuits and gravy was great. I finished my wife's pancakes for breakfast the next morning. Even reheated, they were great. We will be back again and again. Can not wait to try more of the menu. Plus my son is thrilled. They offer full breakfast and lunch menu all day!

The good: service, perfectly cooked eggs, beautifully toasted and buttered sourdough toast, and clean women's restroom The bad: I ordered crispy hashbrowns and received soggy, unseasoned hashbrowns, and kielbasa that tasted like Oscar Mayer weiners The ugly: the layout of the restaurant--every introvert and socially anxious individual's nightmare Since Yelp doesn't allow half star reviews, I'll say it here--this was a 3.5 star experience

2024 FebJosh is great. Come on in and say hi to himMy handyman James Catway makes perfect eggs and he said he learned it over at his aunt's place here at Bonnie Joe's and I have to agree. The eggs are fabulous here. I had the waffle, sausage and eggseverything is just perfect and fast and super clean. Saw three people wiping tables, greeting customers, pouring coffee, setting up. No idle hands.with Josh's excellent personal attention, he made sure I got the best coffee and cream.It seems like a real family cozy place. They're calling out names of customers individually as they come in the door or leave. This is a nice place to be. I'm giving a five-star again Another five star review so be sure to give Josh a shout out please.2023Wow this place was packed, had to get on waiting list on a Wednesday morning. With good reason.Waffle was perfect, soft and mouthfeel for Belgium waffle with sugar free syrup available.Denver omelet was exquisite. In other places they used old meat and too dry.Exceeded expectations! Set bar to new high.Krystal is awesome.Lots of staff to refill coffee etc.Also the old boys club of Bonnie Jo's had some walking sticks they reclaim and share.We actually came to town from Rockport to replace my husband's walking stick so it came at opportune time.Beautiful bathrooms indicate how clean kitchen is too.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA Parking in front

The servers are always very friendly. It has a small town rustic feel to the decor. It's all open floor, not much in the way of privacy. The food is just alright in my opinion, but the rest of my family loves their breakfast. Not too pricey for how much food you get, very large portions.Kid-friendliness: There are 3 high chairs available, so there's always been one available when we go. They have a bunch of crayons and coloring books for the kids. Very inexpensive children's menu as well.
