From the moment we rolled in as a spontaneous large motorcycle group, we were met with true Southern hospitality. The owners were incredibly accommodating, welcoming us with open arms despite our unannounced arrival — and even took the time to personally thank us for choosing their spot out of all the options along our ride.
The atmosphere here is fantastic — relaxed, unique, and full of personality. One standout feature is their condiment bar, which lets you customize your BBQ experience with a variety of mouthwatering sauces and toppings. And yes, the complimentary peanuts? Feel free to chuck the shells right on the floor — it adds to the laid-back, rustic charm.
As for the food, it absolutely delivers. Whether you’re gluten-free or just love BBQ, there’s something for everyone. If you’re like me and can’t decide what to order, go for the 2-, 3-, or 4-meat combo — perfect for trying a bit of everything, but come hungry or be ready to share! The brisket and ribs were standout favorites.
Don’t skip the sides either — the fried okra was crispy and flavorful, and the smoked mac & cheese is comfort food at its finest.
