Absolutely LOVE this venue and the owner...HOWEVER, I have a few critiques. I recently revisited on Dec. 14, 2024 and #1 the scones were TINY. 3 bites MAX. #2 they do not serve REAL clotted cream, and if you're an avid tea room goer you'd know that that's pretty authentic. #2 we were served SO QUICKLY, we barely had time to put our coats down. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, but having all our tea and food come out in about 5 minutes is very strange as we like to sit and chat. #3 the sandwiches were WORSE for holiday tea, even though I paid MORE money? I don't understand that at all. #4, it was labeled as "Holiday Tea" yet there were very little decorations for a mansion you can rent rooms our of. And lastly, #5, we never got waited on. Our kind server simply dropped off our stuff and never came back to ask if it was good or if we needed a tea refill. I've been to the manor before and it was lovely, but I was very disappointed in "Holiday Tea" as it was WAY over priced for the food that was served, the venue they didn't change and the fact it was nasty outside so we couldn't look around anyways.

We were very disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. And the assortment was unappetizing. The price was exorbitant. The entrance to the facility was filled with mud puddles. The ambiance was cluttered and messy.

The place is very nice, the accompanying food is better sweet than salty and the tea in general is good.
It is a very good place to walk a little bit.

Overall experience was enjoyable. Visit was at wife’s request and she enjoyed it as well.
Food was good, above average for sure.
Concern is the value proposition- even for atmosphere and food quality, the portions are pretty much bite-sized except for the sandwich and for $60 per person… it’s a stretch…
It’s worth a visit if you’re into the “afternoon tea experience “ but not sure if return trips are justified.

I saw this place in a documentary and decided to fly all the way to Seattle, rent a car, and drive out to this tea manor in the country to surprise my wife for her birthday. Needless to say we were both extremely impressed with everything. The food was great, the service was good, the owner herself is involved in the operations and is very friendly, and most importantly, the tea is really good! We were there for the high tea in the garden experience which they only do once a month around 4 times a year. It was setup in a very large tent where you can have a nice Mountain View. You can also walk around the grounds and learn about the history of the manor and how it was built. I liked the part where you can pick your tea cup from a glass cabinet. I picked the one that had George Washington on a horse going to battle.
Parking: You can park in a small gravel lot on the grounds or along a gravel road

We had a great bike tour followed by a nice tea service. We enjoyed trying the custom blends of tea and had a great time. Highly recommend!

We attended Mothers tea event and had very disappointing experience. The tea served had very strong chlorine smell to it. We ordered two different teapots and both had that smell. Was not pleasant to drink it. The food is mediocre for the price. The only great thing is the premises with beautiful mountain backdrop and the garden is very nice! Unfortunately, can't recommend the experience.

This was a gem of a find. I really enjoyed the experience. We got to choose our own China which was a nice bonus. The tea selections were excellent and the food choices were yummy. It's a very pretty location out of the way. I'm sure that

I surprised my mom with tulips and tea for an early mother’s day gift, and it far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, tea and service were fantastic, but above all the food was spectacular! (Our favorite was the cheese and apple mini sandwich) You know it was a great time when you spend the whole drive home talking about what future events you would want to attend. Highly recommend!

Food was good but I expected more for the cost. Service was extremely friendly. We were there for the tulip festival. Was a bit disappointed that the gardens/outside didn't seem well maintained/cleaned up.

I went with my friend Maura during the Tulip Festival. The Manor had an old world charm and a Mediterranean feel. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. We took a quick stroll around the beautiful grounds surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful peaceful gardens before sitting down for a delightful tea service. The staff was knowledgeable, gracious, and friendly. Julia took our photo, recommended we see Rozengaarde (which we absolutely loved) and helped us with our tea selection (there were at least 13 different varieties). After tea we were invited to tour the upstairs of the manor house, which had four charming bedrooms for overnight guests. Then we departed for the Tulip Festival already looking forward to returning for a future summertime visit to this enchanted spot.
