I was visiting town and saw this coffee shop nearby. The coffee was OK, but what really stuck out to me was hearing the staff complaining and using profanity about customers that choose not to tip. I was blown away, sitting there, listening to the conversation. Making comments like if you don’t have enough money to tip then you don’t have enough money to eat out. You never know people’s life situations and that’s a nasty perspective to have in customer service.

Used to be our go to place for coffee since we moved to Selah. Unfortunately the customer service and the drinks have been poor lately. I tried to have some understanding since they've been expanding but the past few times my drink has had burnt espresso and the customer service is poor. Ex. Last time I went in I stood there for awhile before even being acknowledged. I was the only person in line. Then there wasn't even a smile or acting like they were happy to be there. Another time I had a free drink on my punch card then the girl didn't even use it. Then when I pointed it out she said it was too late to apply it and charged me full price. Coffee was burnt then too.

Over priced bitter brew. $6 for a 16oz latte with half a shot of vanilla! This is the one next to Home Depot.
So sad, used to be our favorite coffee spot till they changed hands.

I’ve only been to river canyon twice, both times I felt very rushed, I hadn’t even signed the receipt and one of them yelled thank you and I asked for no tomatoes on their chicken wrap both times I’ve been and both times there was tomatoes! If they are premade I’d understand but they haven’t said they were premade so very disappointed

I went in their drive-through and they took my order at my car window, I ordered 4 drinks. When I got to their window they asked me what drinks I got so I started to name them off. After saying the first drink the blonde girl interrupted me and said ok. She came back for my card and told me the price (but I couldn’t hear) and asked me to pull up to the next window. At their 2nd window I was given the paper to sign and my card back. Out of habit I signed the paper but before she got back I noticed the price wasn’t as much as I thought. I brought it up to them, told them I think I was only charged for 2 drinks, they checked and told me they accidentally charged me someone else’s order. They told me that the previous amount will be reimbursed back to my account within a couple days and then they charged me for all 4 drinks. The money was never reimbursed, instead I got charged both Amounts. And only 3 of my drinks were made well.
I used to come here Daily but ever since they got the new young girls my experience has not been good. They’re always stuck up and getting things wrong. We used to never have any problems. Probably won’t be coming back, not worth my money if this is going to be happening.

I'm from the Seattle area and temporarily living here, and I think the prices are fair and the service is great. I think it's super cute and the girls are very nice.

At last 3 times in the last 2 weeks they haven’t been able to make a regular mocha with almond milk. When I called to finally complain, there was no apology, nothing. Not a way to maintain customers! Disappointed!!! Will no longer do business with them

River Canyon has been going downhill for awhile now! The food is not worth the cost and doesn’t taste good, it’s so bland. The baristas are snippy and mess up my order frequently. We used to go almost everyday and now I don’t go unless it’s a last resort in terms of what’s open. I only gave two stars because we love their barista Sydni as she never gets our order wrong and is always so helpful.

This used to be my everyday spot. I will now avoid it at all costs. Rise and Grind will get my business from now on. Drinks have been absolutely trash and today I waited in a 28 minute line today just to get to the front and be told a pasta shaker would be a 45min wait. There was no one behind me or in front and the barista shouts “well there’s customers on the inside too” like girl I could go grocery shopping and cook it all within that 45min window so that is exactly what I did.
