My husband and I were in the area and decided to grab a later dinner. We were really impressed with the restaurant. The friendliness of the staff was welcoming and the pizza was incredibly delicious with local fresh ingredients and I am very picky since I spend a fair amount of time in Italy! There are many choices for all dietary preferences. I loved the pizza dough that is made from sourdough starter.

Dietary restrictions: They have labels on the menu for Gluten Free, Vegetarian, vegan, and more, more than only Pizza.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is family friendly.

This is a very cozy space, with a homey atmosphere that is very warm and inviting. The service was excellent, we were sat with no reservation on an evening when there was only one table left. So we felt quite lucky. The food was hands down amazing. We did somewhat of a wild mushroom extravaganza, and not a single dish disappointed. We even bought a pizza to go we were so impressed. The carrot cake and the cheesecake were so good, not too sweet but still very flavorful and delicious. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. The next time we’re around the Olympic National Park we’ll make sure to reserve a table so we can ensure we have a fantastic meal.

Parking: There is limited parking in front of the restaurant but plenty of street parking and a parking lot just to the left of the front of the restaurant.

We were visiting Sequim from out of town and Alder Wood seemed like it was at the top of everyone’s list. We had arrived and unfortunately they were fully booked for the evening, however we were able to do takeout. The hostess helping us was the sweetest woman and was able to expedite our dinner order in the kitchen and then hand deliver the food to our vehicle in the parking lot. It shows how much this place just cares about its customers and is a model of the amazing Sequim community.

And the food was also outstanding! Tasty pizza, salad and apps!

I was passing through the area and stopped here for dinner. What a fantastic surprise! Jess (owner) greeted me so kindly and found the only table available since they were fully booked. Then Morgan was the server and she was fantastic as well. The food was delicious, lavender crème brûlée was superb, and I left as a very happy camper!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Kind and informative serving staff, friendly atmosphere, and the most delicious food and drink. Basque cheesecake was the best dessert of my trip.

What a great place! We got lucky the first night and got seated as walk-ins. Before we left we made reservations for the next night. Make reservations, this place is popular for a reason! The food was delicious as were the drinks. Everything is so fresh with locally sourced or grown on-site items. We were seated outside in back in the beautiful garden both nights. When it's chilly they not only turn on the heaters but they provide blankets. The pizza special we had was the best pizza we've add and I don't say that lightly. Obviously, we loved eating at Alder Wood Bistro!

We are there due to a referral at our Airbnb. I come from a background in fine dining and we were so stoked on the level of food and unexpected service we received n our recent dinner at Alderwood. We had cocktails, started and mains, everything was different and well executed. Our vegan friends also had a great experience. We will definitely be back and wish this existed near us. The future of restaurants is small, locally focused and accessible to all.

We were lucky to grab a last-minute reservation here on a Saturday. All items we ordered were excellent: gazpacho, summer salad, vegetable fritters, pepperoni pizza, and crème brûleé. Seasoned so well, flavor combinations were surprising and so good. Service was friendly and welcoming. We'll come back if we are ever stopping through again!

We had a great dinner here celebrating a birthday with friends. We had appetizers, mains and dessert. Everything was delicious.I asked for gluten free pasta and they accommodated me. When I asked about dessert they said all the desserts were gluten free except the carrot cake.
