After several years as a “go to place” we had an awful dining experience. We were told the chef had to leave. They also had a new menu. But previously ordered scallops and risotto and chicken Marsala were ordered. Scallops were like rubber balls. Risotto was covered in bacon bits with excessive greens and it was swimming in a sweet balsamic sauce. Inedible. Marsala chicken was dry and over cooked. It was topped with think brown gravy containing excessive mushrooms and tomatoes. Seems both dishes were prepared to cover up the sad offerings. The special “ crispy schnitzel “ was that but so thick it required a saw to cut. Now wonder if we will return ever.
We eat here often. The steaks were the lowest quality we have ever had. My filet mignon was less than ¾". Not very tender either. I wish we had ordered the Tomahawk instead.
I have been going to the steakhouse for 9 years and never had a bad meal People are friendly
We were seated as soon as we arrived due to the face we had made a reservation on open table our server was very pleasant and the food was good
Double Eagle provides outstanding food and customer service. Our meals are consistently great along with wine and cocktails. Our server, Phoebe, whom we have had serve us before, is so friendly and delightful! We sampled the Pork Schnizle and found it to be delicious. It is accompanied by mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables roasted to perfection. The price is very reasonable and we felt like we received value for money spent.
We were seated 40 minutes after reservation time. Waitress was cheerful but not available. Fish good, clam chowder and coleslaw had no flavor. Very disappointed. Did not stay long. Eaten there several times. Not It's normal standard.
Great dining experience overall! Booths offer some privacy for quiet conversations and mutual enjoyment.
Special dinner with a friend who had never been there. We love both Double Eagle and Stymie's menus. So yummy!
My wife and I are from out of state. Friends who are regular customers ask us to meet them there for dinner. Reviews had me concerned, however we all had a great experience. Good and service was good. Cost was reasonable as well. Try it!

beautiful location on Cedars golf course. Lovely restaurant with native American art. The menu was broad enough to satisfy all palettes in our group. The service was lovely and friendly. We were rewarded with a great sunset as dinner finished
Went here based on reviews. The menu sounds great. I was going to order a steak , glad I didn’t. Jeremy was nice but scattered. He took 15 minutes to bring a table near us their Pepsi. The females on staff didn’t seem to be helping. The mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy like they were out of the fridge and microwaved improperly. The chicken Marsala had decent flavor but it was a minuscule slice of chicken breast maybe $2 worth of chicken. The seasonal veggies were two broccoli florets and maybe five green beans. I wanted to love it but I didn’t. The hostess also took 8 minutes to appear and there was nobody else waiting.

I have always had fabulous service and great food here. I recently developed an allergy and didn’t think to tell the waitress. The food came out with the allergen in it. When I asked the waitress about it, she said I should have told her. I apologized and said yes it’s my fault. My husband said he would pay for a new entree. The waitress at least 4 times stated I should have told her. I apologized the first two times, the third time I apologized and said the meal did not look like it would have the allergen when looking at the menu. The 4th time she said I should have told her, I said it was a new allergy and I didn’t think to tell her. At no time did I ask for a free replacement or insinuate it was her fault. I felt humiliated. The replacement meal came out uncooked with what seemed like 10 times as much spice as what I have experienced previous times I have been there. It burned going down. I didn’t eat it. I would absolutely eat at this restaurant again but I would never have that waitress serve me ever again.
