They added a “thai birds eye chili pepper” to the meal, it was mixed with the green beans and took a bite out of it thinking it was a green bean. I asked for 3/5 spice but apparently that is when they add a lot of spice. I have a high spice tolerance, but this was way too hot for the rating. However, the food did taste good, it seemed like a bad mistake to make. Server was saying it must have been the chili paste, but it was definitely that pepper!

The egg rolls!! Made in house and HUGE! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant and in the little amazing retro lounge next door. Don't judge a book by it's cover, and discover this literal hidden gem!

Best thing i can say is the service was great! Started with the soda. Machine was out of syrup so we ordered a lemonade, still tasted gross and we were charged extra for the lemonade. Egg drop soup was too thick. When the food came out it smelled good but did not taste great. We wasted alot of food

The server was polite and friendly. The restaurant clean. The food was ….. not enjoyable. Very blah, no Asian flavor. Almost like they forgot seasoning and herbs. We ordered two combo meals. Every dish was same tasteless blah. I have never left a negative review before. But I took home the leftovers home , because I don’t like to waste food and threw them away because I couldn’t convince myself to eat them. I will not return to this restaurant.

Food was not pallitable. I ordered a dish that had sweet and sour pork, chow mein, almond chicken, fried rice, and wonton soup. The pork, chow mein, and chicken came on the same plate. All 3 felt like they were bathed in snot. The only one that had flavor was the sweet and sour pork. My fried rice was dry white rice with soy sauce over it. My husband ordered a fried rice dish but was served a stir fry instead. This dish also felt like a plate of snot in your mouth with no flavor. Can't believe this place gets so many good reviews. We will definitely not be coming back.

Look at these one star reviews (not many of them fyi) and I wonder if they even have the right restaurant? I’ve been eating here for 40 years and it’s the best Chinese food on the peninsula. When I say that I mean the quality of their food is outstanding. Everything is clean. The favors are excellent. Things are crisp. It’s just phenomenal. Had a fantastic dinner there again last night. Staff is super friendly. Food comes out quickly. Can’t say enough good things about the restaurant and the food. Joe & Missy
