This place has a long, long, long ways to go if they ever want to meet the standards of the previous owner.
I ordered a New York steak and it was the worst steak I’ve ever had. $24 for 9 ounces of hamburger meat.
Overpriced food.
Poor seating for large groups.
Short staffed.
Don’t waste your time or money here.
Sequim has much better restaurants than this.

Normally I just come in for Rey’s burger (the best in Sequim) but today I took a chance on breakfast. I didn’t get the picture of my sons’s chocolate pancake (he gobbled it down like a 5 year old should). These guys have turned a corner and really got this place humming.

This is not the place for good seafood, barely mediocre. The clam strips were more breading, than clam, and they were so dry, I could barely choke them down. I had to ask the server for some tartar sauce, she charged me an additional dollar for it. My partner said the halibut was good, and didn’t appear to be frozen. One of my kids had clam chowder that was almost inedible, out of a can would’ve been far better. The other child had a hamburger on the child’s menu which was large, but obviously a frozen patty that was just heated up on the grill. This place isn’t totally awful, but if you’re traveling, and looking for good seafood, close to the ocean, Paradise isn’t it.

Very good food, kept clean and nice looking. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The service was ok, could use a little training on the younger staff. Very polite and helpful. Will be going back. Breakfast served all day, also, decent seafood.

Our first time to the Paradise Cafe & it was a delightful experience! Great food with a wide ranging menu. They serve anything on the menu, breakfast, lunch or dinner, from 7 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. Service was excellent, prices are very reasonable. It takes us an hour to drive there from Kingston & this will become one of our favorite restaurants.
First time and it was impressive

Food is generic, fried items were overdone or tasted frozen. Had a scallop taste terribly fishy, which it should not, this brings into question the freshness of the food.
Didn't have enough glasses at the table,no water brought to us, when asked for water additional glasses were not brought. Had to grab silverware and glasses from an empty table next to us.
The upside is the food came out fast. And the restaurant was clean.
Service was friendly, the food was great (I had the birria tacos, fantastic! ) and came quickly. What's not to love??
Clean, excellent service. Wide selection of food. Gluten free options available
We went there on Mother's Day. All of our food was delicious, service was great, and they gave every mother a long-stemmed rose! After the meal we discovered that our car battery was dead and the manager(?) saw our hood up and brought his own truck around to give us a jump! Now, that's full service! The new owners are really working hard to give this place a new image!
Good food. Good atmosphere. Good service.
