Denise does an incredible job creating an inviting space to enjoy any meal of the day and pours her all into her delicious menu offerings. She also offers catering services for private parties and has a versatile restaurant space to hold community events or functions. I have always loved your food. My wife and I often share a sandwich and then we each buy a salad and goodie and drinks. Recently you charged us $5 extra for sharing the sandwich. I don't recall seeing this food sharing fee on the menu. That tells us you do not want our business. It makes me sad. This is not forward thinking. I suppose from now on I will get a sandwich to go and share it with my wife at home

This place... It's almost like they don't want your business. Dressing on the side? No we don't do that. Sauce on the side? Sorry, the chef won't do that. One person in our group wasn't hungry and we were told that they had to order if they wanted to sit at our table. Keep in mind that we had three other people who were ordering. We ended up leaving.

Chef doesn’t allow anyone to share meals. I can’t hardly finish a plate so to not be able to share with my partner or my daughter is crazy work. Never heard of such a rule. Way better places to eat for sure; definitely save ur money and skip!

The staff and chef/owner are extremely wonderful, hospitable and friendly. The food is great and they are exceptionally good with young children. It's a small, cute place, but I was impressed at how friendly the staff was. If anyone is visiting the town of Sequim, I would highly recommend going here for a bite to eat.
The River House is one of Sequim’s gems. The food is top notch—fresh, quality ingredients combined creatively for a diverse menu suiting many tastes. AMAZING biscuits and other pastries made in house! Comfortable, clean, and attractive ambiance. Local owner working hard to bring goodness to our community.

It is rare and oh so welcome to stop into a place and feel, after only a few moments, like you have stepped into a dear friend’s kitchen. This place is just absolutely wonderful and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I was treated like an old friend’s, the atmosphere was warm, welcome, bright, and just a very pleasant place to be. The staff and the owner, who I had the pleasure to meet, would the most delightful of folks, both kind and accommodating. And the food was not overshadowed by the incredible people - it was delicious, well portioned, and please may I have another. I don’t pass through Sequim often, but when I do I’ll be making a special trip every time. Thanks Denise, Daniel, and everyone else!

Best ski in ski out breakfast on the Peninsula. Views are incredible of Mt. Olympus and Lake Crescent as well as Ruby Beach all from the floor to ceiling glass windows. Snowed while we were here! Fresh pow, fresh food, fresh memories ❤️

I went with two friends, one who is a vegetarian and there were no offerings available for her. They did have two side salads which they weren’t able to give her because she did not order an entrée. Another friend and I both had burgers and tater tots, and they were absolutely terrible. It makes me very sad because I have had some really great breakfast and lunches there.
