We enjoyed a light lunch of chili and cornbread muffins. We shared a bowl between us and a muffin each. The food was good and the coffee good and hot. And the service was quick and pleasant. We'd stop in again.

Had a bad experience a couple of years ago with food poisoning. Decided to try and give them another try. They have some new staff and new cooks. This is now one of our favorite places. Keep the good work up!!Kid-friendliness: Went on my sons birthday. They sang, brought him a special hot chocolate, adjusted his meal to include extra fruit because he is extremely picky. Loved it!

This place is fantastic. Tatted like home cooking. Except better. Definitely the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. The atmosphere was super cool. I would definitely recommend this place

Great food and wait staff ❤️ Sequim Black Bear is by far the best in western Washington! Their Classic Eggs Benedict is excellent! The hollendaise was perfect and the ham was tender and so good! Julie our server has a great attitude and a bright and bubbly personality. This was our second visit this week and we were seated in her section both times. Thank you Sequim Black Bear for consistently great food and service!

We went to the diner since they had a dog friendly patio. We were seated and served very promptly, they even brought our pup a big dish of water. Sadly it started to pour rain before our food arrived so we went to try and cancel the food and pay. They were so kind and ended up seating us inside with our pup. The food was amazing and the service even more so. At the end of our meal the waitress even brought our pup a big piece of bacon for being such a good boy. If your in the Sequim area definitely stop by the Black Bear Diner for a great meal.

Food:4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value for Money: 5/5 A Pleasant Surprise at Black Bear DinerReview: My first visit to Black Bear Diner was unexpectedly delightful! The ambiance is pretty standard, but the food deserves a mention.I opted for the Chicken Avocado Club sandwich with sweet potato fries. Although I couldn't really taste the avocado, the sandwich was fresh, with crispy bacon that elevated its taste beyond just decent. My friend's Turkey Club was also a hit, bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients. The service added to the experience, with our waitress being incredibly sweet and attentive. The Chicken Strips we tried were just right, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. While we didn't explore the entire menu, I can confidently say that the club sandwiches are a solid choice. Black Bear Diner may not be a hidden gem, but it's certainly worth a visit for those looking for a satisfying meal with great service.

We had dinner there last night. It is right across from Holiday Inn. Dinner was $60 for two adults and one child. It was our first time eating at Black Bear Diner. Great selections of homemade style meals. Meatloaf was good. The muffin was nice and warm. My kid finished the Mac&cheese. Stephanie was great.

Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, great cold brew, and I received a complimentary brownie on my way out the door! I’ll be going back!
