Get the cowboy burger. Best burger I’ve ever had and I lived in Texas for a part of my life! Took forever to get our food, but man, I will come back for that burger!

Apparently nobody likes working there... Just your average overpriced Burger

Came here during Lavender Festival weekend expecting any restaurants in Sequin would be busy. We were able to get a seat in their small bar right away. Waitress was nice, but they seemed understaffed. They also ran out of fries, which is crazy for a burger joint to run out of. The pretzel I ordered was almost rock hard and the soda was flat. I don't think anyone in my party enjoyed their meal, and we wouldn't come back.

I have eaten here at least a half dozen times or more, usually after a few days backpacking in the Olympic National Park. Now, when I saw that the burgers are tasty as ever, its not because I am hungry particularly, but because they are simply delicious. Each burger is its own special arrangement. I have settled on my own favorite, The Cali Duble Game Farm Style... just so tasty, flavorful, and piled high with fixings, including grilled onions and smothered in mustard to make it tangy. Beef is delicious. I usually get fries, but the tater tots the other day were a real treat.
Because I was driving, I opted to not get a beer, but went for an Arnold Palmer and it hit the spot. Our waitress was so kind and sweet and patient and food was delivered quickly, with a smile. I am sure that if I lived closer to Sequim I would go there more often, but currently its the best burger on the Northern Olympic Peninsula... some folk say there there a great places in Port Angeles and I have had some fine burgers there, but to me, Shadowline is supreme. Looking forward to more backpacks, and more burgers. See you on the trail and at Shadowline (and hope to get a beer next time!)

Very nice place to eat and have a beer. It is fairly new, very clean and the staff are great.

Far and away the best burger place in town. Delicious burgers and fries. The Cali double double is delicious and so is the chicken sandwich! We are so happy that this place exists in Sequim.

Great food and service! I asked if the bar had a holiday Mojito, they didn't, but the bar tender suggested adding blueberries, they made it very festive and I loved it, it was very tasty!

Vegetarian burger options at no extra cost! Really good prices (when was the last time you got a smashburger and fries for less than $10?). Some menu items do not allow for modifications or substitutions, but if you aren't fussy, it's no problem.

Very disappointed that this restaurant offers the vegan Beyond Burger but have zero vegan buns, bread or otherwise to make it a ‘burger’. I ordered a Beyond burger without a bun. I’ve never been to a food establishment that didn’t offer some kind of bread/bun that’s vegan for their vegan burger. I toasted a bun (Franz) at home and brought it with me to provide my own bun as I was pre-warned. Sloppy broken burger on a piece of lettuce was difficult to transfer to my bun. Then I was told by our server that the manager said this was ‘not allowed and I was not to do this again’. The manager had the server tell me instead of speaking directly to me. As we walked in I sensed a somewhat unwelcoming atmosphere with all the walls in the waiting area plastered with signs of serious infractions for both restaurant policy /federal laws on service animals and such. Maybe they could post something pleasant like, WELCOME! Obviously, we and others who find this situation odd, will not patronize Shadowline. Server was very kind and flavor was good. That’s it for me.

Vegetarian options: Possibly a salad with oil and vinegar and a wonderful Beyond burger but no bun. That’s pretty much it. Don’t bother.

Dietary restrictions: Doesn’t provide much in healthy vegan options.

Didn't even make it to our table, walked in with our large party and the hostess rudely told us to go back outside and clear the doorway, no welcome to shadowline, smile or anything of the sort. Just blatant misery held up by a pair of black nose rings. This company blatantly turned away what would have been hundreds of dollars in business for themselves and seemed smug about it in the end. Avoid this place at all costs.

IN RESPONSE: You are literally attacking a customer who is just pointing out that a single employee could be the downfall of your enterprise. You clearly let them also respond to reviews (bad idea). I'd highly recommend you stick to the old adage, the customer is always right. Being a trendy gastro pub in Washington State is as old hat as the smash burger trend you grovel after. To those reading this review, avoid this place at all costs.

We called ahead and asked for a table for our family and they said they don’t take reservations. We thought all good but when we arrived they emphasized they would not sit us together (party of 11) because they don’t move tables. We had family in from out of town and wanted to be together but they refused to accommodate. The hostess also told us to wait outside in the freezing temperatures and she’d call us when a table was ready. Very rude and uninviting. We went elsewhere and did not stay.
