Perfect place to grab brunch! The fried chicken with their waffles š§ was juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Nicely seasoned and paired well with the waffles. The waffles came with whipped cream, berry sauce, and cinnamon syrup! So delicious.
The brisket hash was delicious, juicy, crispy edges, flavourful and it paired perfectly with the arugula and carrots making a savoury, sweet and tangy bite.
And the eggs are good, yeah I know itās just eggs š but their eggs taste a lot better than ones from other brunch places. Enough to stand out.
Will come back here for brunch or lunch again for sure.

Amazing food and fabulous service, couldn't ask for better. Right in downtown with a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Jacqui served us and she was so kind and attentive. We ordered the Toasted Marshmallow Chai latte, which came nice and hot with toasted marshmallows! Also got the extra Chai in the pot, a nice touch. Ordered the Sequim Mcgriddle deconstructed, it came with two yeast waffles which I haven't had before but they're very tasty and have a wonderful dimension of flavor. Home Fries and these are the absolute best Home Fries I've ever had in my life, the were so crispy and perfect. Eggs and bacon which was also crispy and great. We got the Basic Burger and Regular french fries it was wonderful and the fries were very fresh and well seasoned. The bleu cheese dip was very tasty as well, perfect for the fries. We got our stamp card and will be back going back soon!

I would rate this place a 10 if it was an option. The food is incredible, awesome Bloody Mary, and the BEST service. With food prices these days, I would 100% rather eat here than anywhere else for breakfast or lunch. You get a great meal at a reasonable price, support a local business, and are treated like gold. And, as a breakfast lover, I never walk out of there smelling like a diner, which is some kind of air flow magic that must have. This is a wonderful local business with a very invested and accommodating owner. We're adopting this as our new favorite haunt.

Eat here! When I'm roaming around the country, finding healthy options is such a challenge. The owner here is so thoughtful, intentional, and mindful that food shouldn't just be tasty, it's also nourishment. Organic & local are two of my favorite words. But my favorite word is TEA!! I'm just a tea girl in a coffee state, so I appreciate that my choices went WAY beyond pesticide-laden Lipton nonsense. It's real, freshly-brewed loose leaf tea! I also love biscuits and gravy, but I don't like sausage. Guess what? They also offer mushroom gravy! It was SO good. On top of all that yummy goodness, the owner came by the table to chat. She's a lovely human who shared about herself and the love of her aging pup. The whole experience just warmed my heart. Five emphatic stars!!

We went to one cafe and saw a massive line outside (it was cold out and that was a no-go for us). We decided on Sunshine Cafe as our second option. It was the best āfall backā experience a girl could ask for!
The staff and owner are truly lovely individuals. Despite being busy, they never rushed us in any way and even took time to have a conversation without neglecting other patrons. They were out of matcha tea and allowed me to use my own that I just purchased at the tea and spice shop a few doors down. The way they prepared it was delish! They truly made the experience so personal and welcoming.
Now the food. Ohhh, the food. Fresh, healthy, made from scratch, local, and seasonal. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for restaurants like this.
Finally, their tea and coffee menu is quite impressive! It stands out from any cafe Iāve ever been to as they have a variety of options not found in your standard cafe.
I wish I lived closer to this place! I would absolutely be dining there regularly. Thank you to the staff and owner for providing such a wonderful space!

I had breakfast at Sunshine Cafe this morning. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. My āstandardā bacon and eggs selection was very good, except the bacon. It might be the BEST bacon Iāve had in Sequim. Now, admittedly, I havenāt eaten at every restaurant in Sequim. That might have to be my next quest. But, for now, Sunshine Cafe scores #1 on my bacon chart.

After being severely glutened years ago, I swore off eating out and have only eaten at home for my safety. Taking the leap to try Sunshine Cafe was a big deal for me - Iāve now had 4 amazing meals there with zero celiac reactions! The food somehow gets more delicious each time Iāve gone and I actually feel great after eating there. I get to feel like a normal person again, eating out with family and friends. Finally found my safe spot and I am so grateful. Thank you for considering people like me.
