My omelet was small and very bland. The biscuits and gravy were mediocre. What really convinced me not to come back was the single crepe for $17 that came with no sides for the price. I thought an order of sausage would be a nice accent to the omelet. I was wrong. The sausages looked good, but were just under extremely fatty, and had about half the amount of spice you would expect, almost like the spices had been watered down to go farther, prior to being added to the meat. This theme carried over to the blackberry lemon drop that was mildly pink vodka mulled with water, with the blackberry flavor being completely nonexistent. If there are no other options, you can get food here, but your chances of leaving happy and satisfied are very very low.

This darling little restaurant is kinda in a weird neighborhood but the ladies were kind and for once we were not rushed because of my kids. Most restaurants want us out quick because my kids are kinda wonkers which they were. Food is good for a diner,service is good. the place chairs tables etc are outdated but then thats part of this places charm

First, I want to begin by saying I'm not picky, and I very rarely have problems with the food that I order. I myself am a waitress so I'm not the type to complain much at a restaurant. However, we were really looking forward to trying the food here, and we left extremely disappointed. Let's start with the bad: Everything was smothered in italian seasoning, the split pea soup tasted like a bad minestrone, I don't even know if there were peas in it. There was even italian seasoning in the ceaser salad! The veggies and bread tasted weird and old, like they were about to go bad. Tried the elk, and it tasted like fish?! The fried chicken was tough and bland and also tasted old. The turkey gravy was watery and tasted like it came from a can. The good: The strawberry lemonade is excellent and they give you a giant jar of it. The service was great and attentive! Our waitress was very patient with us when we couldn't decide what to order, and again when we told her we didn't like the food. The booths were comfy and the atmosphere was nice (aside from the country music, but thats just a personal preference lol).

Don't waste your harder money I'm coming here. The food was horrible. The elk Burger taste like ground beef the clam chowder was way too sweet remind me of eating dumplings
