Ok the food was really good and well made! It would have been much better if served to us hot instead of cold.
I think this restaurant will be good after ‘growing pains’ and has lots of potential.
We walked in and waited to be seated. After about 5 minutes the girl finally looked up at us and said to seat ourselves, even though there were no signs about seating.
The waitress was super sweet and nice and put in the effort. However the food took 30 minutes to arrive and we were there at 11 am on a Thursday, not busy at all. No one ever came back to check on us or refill the water or soda. When we needed more napkins we went and got them ourselves. It felt like they were short staffed or overwhelmed or just not up to speed yet. When the food arrived cold, we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes so we ate a little bit and took most of it home to heat up and eat later.
One interesting and notable feature-the booths are very very wide. The table was at least 18 inches from me on the seat and I am not a small person :) so I had to shimmy up to the edge or else each bite was being carried long distance from the plate to my mouth. I wish there was this much room on an airplane seat. I am including a picture in case this helps anyone and/or sometimes seating is too small.
Over all I might try this place again in about 6 months and hopefully it will be more streamlined.

First time for dinner after new owners and remodel. Restaurant was well lit and clean. Service was OK.Unfortunately the food was terrible. I ordered meatloaf and it was terrible smothered in super salty gravy it,was all I could taste. The meatloaf itself was luke warm in the middle at best. I suspect it was cold and they just nuked it then covered in that nasty gravy. Had side of mac and cheese it was also luke warm and not good. My son had bacon cheese burger said it was dry and bacon was overdone. Will not be back

3/15/25.....Waiting 15 minutes to get a small table..Mind you the tables were open but not being cleaned up. Finally get a our table and another 10 minutes to order.Brings us my milk and water for the wife.We sat there for 25 minutes and watched our food sit under the heat light and pick up station for 20 minutes. We just wanted to see at this point if we'd ever get our breakfast. Never came. Our waitress walked and looked at our food sitting there..Now my milk was warm.45 to 50 minutes went by so we got up and walked out.It not just the Waitress the cooks. There very slow and confused. Terrible experience and will never return.

We went winter camping up at Browns Creek this weekend. Helped a friend get unstuck coming back. After a 2 hour recovery we needed good food! Thank you Tiffany for serving us and giving us the history of Blondies! We’ll stop by again next time we’re out on the peninsula!

They were pretty busy as it was Saturday morning. I knew it would take a bit for our food to be done. It was hot and delicious. Service was great.

It looks nice with the remodel. Their fries are delicious. Their French dip sandwich was rather small for the price. The au jus that came with the French dip was basically water with no flavor at all. The clam chowder was really good even though it did not taste like traditional clam chowder. Their chef salad half order is still huge. Our waitress Tracy was friendly. Over all pretty decent place. Please do something about the au jus. The French dip is nothing without a tasty dip to soak in.
