We stopped here for dinner and a break with our kids to get their wiggles out before finishing the long stretch of our evening drive. The play area with viewing windows is awesome and the customer service was very friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Great spot to let toddlers play. Not many places like this anymore.

Waited curbside for 15+ minutes. Finally went in and they had missed bringing out my order. I was in a rush. Fries and burger were by then barely warm.

I just left that McDonald’s and I used to be an employee of the McDonald’s company not necessarily that location, but I have never in my entire life received. Worst customer service in my entire life when waiting for my order it took them almost 20 minutes to make two sandwiches and get two large drinks. When we were waiting. One of the employees proceeded to come up to me and my mother and “ What are you waiting for” With an extremely rude tone. when we told her what we were waiting for, she proceeded to tell us to hold on and give her one second when we didn’t say anything other than we were waiting for our order we received our order, but not our cups when I asked where our drinks were, she looked almost confused as if I didn’t order any cups. it proceeded to take another additional five minutes just for me and my mother to receive our drinks and we ordered the simplest drinks on the menu two fountain sodas. The only person within that kitchen that should receive any type of promotion or good graces from the management team is the heavier set gentleman with curly hair and glasses who was wearing a purple vest running orders out to the lobby. His customer service was very exceptional and he was very happy to help and made it very obvious that he was very happy to help. all in all if you want, McDonald’s, don’t go to the one in Shelton. You can get better customer service and other places.
