Shout out to Railroad Tap Station for going above and beyond! While in Shelton for the art walk today, we stopped for lunch and the staff was awesome at working with me and my extremely limited diet allowances. I can’t have tomato products or cheese, and they found a way to make me a yummy pizza. (And I have really missed pizza!) Thanks, and we’ll be back. 🍕
Great beer (and cider) list. Great pizza. You should also go here.
Great place, I always enjoy it. The tap selection is what get's me there, the beer and also the ciders. The food quality and pleasant service is always appreciated.
Due to the fact an employee called me out on facebook for being an awful customer multiple times, my friends and business will no longer be having dinners there or supporting their business. I went in on 10/31 to get a drink before the event downtown and got the absolute rudest look. Sorry the business from my social group has caused her pain but now she can waitress without our support. I absolutely love the food and the flight options and it is always a go to for a large event gathering I host, whether being a first date or a company dinner. I wish this business the best but I'd prefer not have a reputation as an awful customer in a town that I highly support small businesses in.
Loved the chicken fettuccine

Great atmosphere!! We have been here a few times to grab some drinks since moving to Shelton. We finally got the chance to try the food. The spinach artichoke dip and meatball sliders with beer cheese hit the spot. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.
Update: Got the chance to try more of the menu. The prime rib sliders are really good.

We ate lunch here, not knowing much about the food. The tap selection is phenomenal and the food is an awesome compliment. We had the French Dip sliders, burger, Mac and Cheese and the Artichoke Dip. Everything was incredible! The service was awesome as well! We’ll be back!

We aren’t local, but we are frequently in Shelton and this spot has become an absolute favorite. The tap list is always great and varied, but the food quality is just entirely off the charts, and since we started coming here we’ve tried a lot of the menu. I don’t often order pizza at home anymore, since I’d rather just wait until our next Shelton trip and have theirs. Service is always friendly, attentive, and spot on (even with complex orders and allergy requirements). I’m super grateful to have a “go-to” place when we are out here to visit, and wish we had a spot like this in our neighborhood at home.

Really enjoyed our meal at Railroad Tap Station. We ordered a large pizza and a stout. Incredible selection of drinks on tap at reasonable prices. The pizza was an excellent value. We'll be back!

It's not often that we leave a bad review, often times we opt not to review a place at all. But our experience at the Railroad tap was one that we hope others don't have to deal with.We chose to stop into their taproom because it seemed like it would meet all our needs. Quick, quality, comfortable. When we arrived, it was already apparent that the staff was busy. We made sure to ask whether table service or bar service was preferred. They assured us that we would have table service. We opted to order drinks at the bar and grab a menu for food. After waiting about 15 minutes, a person came to take our order. Afterward, we didn't hear from them for about 40 minutes. When they finally came out with our appetizers and took our order, we were informed that they were out of chicken, we don't eat beef, so this was a major disappointment. Never the less we proceeded to order dinner, we had a hike to get to, and it was already late. After sitting another 30 minutes, we informed the waitress that we hadn't heard anything...When things finally arrived in boxes, it was not only cold but incorrect. Tomatoes added when asked for non, etc...It was the worst way to start an otherwise incredible weekend.Tldr; bad service, bad food, bad beer selection
