I was served a thin and sad cut of Ribeye steak. I would expect more from Denny's. It was sad and I was with a regular customer they still served me junk.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2021: New owners, cheaper steaks. Thin, which makes it difficult to cook to order. I ordered MR and was presented with a MW steak. Very disappointed with the steaks - as was everyone else in our party. Service was great but the food was mediocre at best. I wouldn’t recommend them these days. ?

Since we were not aware that reservations are recommended we weren't able to get a table inside. No worries, we sat outside. Fortunately it was a nice evening. We were worried that they would forget about us though that did not happen. The server was very attentive. The food was very good especially the homemade fresh bread. We will definitely return and make sure that we have reservations.

Great if you enjoy microwaved steak for $35 a plate. The seasoning on it was alright, but when the plate itself is hotter then the food and the steak is rubbery is pretty much a dead giveaway. Server was nice otherwise it would be 1*

We ate lunch today at The Strip Steakhouse in Shelton; we will definitely go back! Our 8oz top sirloins were perfectly cooked, tender and tasty!! My green salad was fresh, and the dressing was homemade. My husband’s french fries were nicely cooked and hot from the fryer!! Our server was pleasant and attentive! What a great little place!

We saw that reservations were recommended, so we called before noon and got a great table for that Friday night. Not a big place so make a reservation for sure. Wonderful food and service, we will be back for sure. Cheers to Wendy, so made our experience great!

it's my birthday today and we were searching for a steakhouse close. found you and decided to try it. I have to say it was excellent. clean, waitresses were funny and right there for you. the tables had white linens, candle, fresh flowers. But our meal was the best we have had in I don't know how long. cooked to exactly how we asked. we will go back, next to try something on the lunch menu. thank you for the best birthday dinner.

Went to the Strip for the first time, ordered chicken and shrimp fettuccine, the salad was so good, lots of fresh vegies, the fettuccine YUMMY!!! And even though we were too full to finish our meal we shared a three berry Cobbler to die for!!!! crunchy gooey yummyness!!! And what I really noticed was the food presentation it was very tastefully done. And with the Beautiful Roses and candles on the table made you feel Special. The waitress was very friendly and came to refill our water and coffee just at the right time. Yes we will be back, there is more to try on their menu. And even though it is a small Restaurant they are busy, so you need a reservation. BUSY AND GOOD!!! And was a Pleasant surprise to see the Cook in a fresh white chef's jacket, and GOOD LOOKING TOO!!!!!

Nope. I have been going to the Strip for 10 years but after they switched owners I’ve had to stop going. Since the change in ownership they upped the prices of everything, changed some of the recipes, and started giving smaller portions even though they increased the cost of everything. I understand with new owners you would maybe want to make some changes but I feel as though the new owners don’t realize that what made The Strip successful was the difference in their menu (especially the dinner rolls) and service that other restaurants in the area do not have. With the changed menu I see no reason to go here just to receive 3/4 of the meal I used to receive especially because I’m paying more now than ever before.
