Honestly the filthiest restaurant I've ever been in! I ordered online and when I walked in was stunned with how junky and gross it was. I can't believe the health department hasn't shut them down. Three women in a booth up front, yelled at some guy in the back who came running and said "ok, I'll make your food now." Just weird as I showed up expecting my food to be ready. It wasn't bad but I'll never go back. I can't "unsee" the filth.

Takeout Order: The "Restaurant" is packed with debris building materials and a ladder - no place to dine in. On a table near the front were bowls of green beans, I assume were waiting to be processed - I wonder how the health department gives their approval. With takeout orders packed in non-recyclable styrofoam, this warrants an immediate 1*. The BBQ fried rice was disgusting, like it had been made days ago. The Chicken in Black Bean was equally unpalatable. Will never go back again. The first location on 35th and 75th was great.

Black Pearl in Shoreline is still the best Chinese restaurant around. Our favs include the Pork Chow Mein, Shrimp Fried Rice and Beef with Broccoli.

Have always loved coming here, food is great and the people are nice. My menu recommendation is the General Tso's chicken, but ask for 5 star spicy. Probably the best I've ever had.

Nostalgia I stopped by today because I haven't eaten here in a thousand yeas.. It was much better kept as a restaurant it's sitely. 5 minutes he said I could hear the shrimps being fried. In that five minutes I could hear coughing the restaurant is now storage and I could see elderly sitting in various places. I will not eat here again the shrimp fried rice was tasty. But the appearance of the store left me bewildered.

I continue to goto Black Perl due to the quality of food. There are great and take instructions on customizing food. e.g, sweet and sour not on the side, but cooked with. There could be some cleaning on the inside, but dont let that fool you. I get my food for take out and would highly suggest Black Perl to others looking for quality food.

I believed they care about my health so I ate there nearly every day. I told them I had a allergy to soy. I ended up in the hospital with pvc's high a heart beat rate. They had been putting soybean oil in my food with no regard to my health. When I asked them questions to get down to the bottom of it they got irritated and couldn't let me finish my questions before they answered. I do not recommend this place in fact shut them down. They were carelessly I guess trying to prove to me that my problem isn't soy! I wish it wasn't!
My stepdad was celebrating his 81st birthday, we asked the neighbor where it was in town we could get the best chow mein he suggested the black pearl in Shoreline. We did an online order and scheduled the pick up for five PM. It was a very large order and was about 15 minutes late but worth the wait. All our entrées were delicious. Thank you black pearl. We layed all the food on the table and my step dad thought he was at the buffet. Potstickers, crab Rangoon, white rice, fried rice, chow Mein with shrimp, chow Mein with chicken, orange, generals, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, honey prawns. Grilled veggies. Wish I'd taken a picture. It was quite the feast for a great papa!

Wonderful food. Everything g we tried was very good.Unlike most restaurants the food isn't heavy to salt nor is it too sweet.Don't let the store front turn you off. Blame covid or any other handy excuse.

We have ordered from them for years because my kids love their food. Good size portions, clean, always consistently good! I wanted to let people know that I have NEVER had a restaurant do what they did last night. We ordered & my husband picked it up. When we got home, we realized we were missing part of our order. My husband called & the owner was already on his way bringing us our food & an extra treat for the in convenience!! It arrived literally 5-10 after my husband hit home, so my kids were able to eat their entire meal hot! Great service.....great people. I highly recommend this mom & pop establishment. They cook for you & treat you like you're family!
