The new place looks pretty cute, but the food and the people working there is another story. I went in to have lunch, ordered a churrasco appetizer and the order came churrasco special. I ordered medium rare, the manager explained that it would be too rare, almost cold inside the meat, then I changed to a medium. Well the meat came barely cooked, when it arrived I explained to him that it was too rare, he took the piece of meat back to get it cooked again! I thought it was not allowed to take food back to the kitchen and recook it. Second I ordered a passion fruit caioirinha, don’t be fooled. It’s a passion fruit juice with a shot of cachaça.
Also, my husband ordered churrasco special, the maionese, beans and salad that comes with it didn’t arrive.
So all that being said, will not be returning there again.

Super great visit. I appreciate the brazilian servers, because different from american serves they do not bother you at the table asking question while you have your mouth full. With a full house, service does tend to be a bit slower, however they are very helpful.

I do not have very high standards for service but the service at this restaurant was frustratingly terrible. The wait to order was so long I watched other patrons leave before ordering. The waitress got the order wrong so food came out at different times. One of the orders was forgotten and it was impossible to wave anybody down to let them know. My son and I both ordered the picanha medium. Mine was perfect but my son was medium well. My picanha was good but service was so bad and soul-crushing that it was not worth it.

I really like this place, as a Brazilian whenever I miss home I come here to have lunch. The atmosphere is great, there’s always Brazilian music playing, the deco is really nice as well.

The portions are big (even tho it doesn’t seem like it in the last picture) last time I ate here (last pic) I actually had leftovers for another 2 meals hahaha.

This space is bigger than the Queen Anne one, and offers the “Rodízio” all you can eat.
It does take a while for the meats to come and go, but I’ll blame it on the odd time I was over (3pm on a Sunday) and also wasn’t the fullest, but as soon as more tables were filled more options of meat were brought and faster as well.

The sides come quickly (cheese bread is the best) and the waiters were really nice. All Brazilian as well so it’s nice to speak Portuguese to them, they will greet you in English (obviously) but you can always say where you’re from (if you speak Portuguese or even Spanish, we Brazilians love to dabble in the “portunhol”.

Great experience overall, just hoped there more options of cuts of meats, and even some sides. But for the price, it’s really great.

We visited with a group of seven on a Saturday evening around 7:20 pm. Despite it not being too busy (with only 3 other tables occupied) the overall experience was disappointing. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which gave us hope for a great evening. We opted for the Rodizio buffet, which included a variety of sides and all-you-can-eat meat selections.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. Not all the sides we ordered were brought to our table, even after following up multiple times. The staff was not attentive, we had to ask for water refills several times, and it took over 40 minutes just to get water and other drinks that we ordered. Given that the restaurant wasn’t crowded, this level of service was disappointing.

The Rodizio meats were average at best. After spending two hours there, we weren’t offered all the meats that were supposed to be served, and some meats were repeated multiple times. Sadly, many of them didn’t taste great. The side dishes were just okay; the cheese bread lacked flavor, and the feijoada was disappointing.

While the price point here is lower than Fogo de Chão, Ipanema and Texas de Brazil, I believe paying $15-20 more would be worth it for better service, more attentive staff, and higher-quality meats. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a Rodizio experience.

First things first. Botteco falls far short of the experience at Fogo de ChĂŁo. While the food was generally good, several factors prevented it from being truly superior.

Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. After being seated and placing our order for the all-you-can-eat option, we waited almost 40 minutes for the gauchos to start making their rounds. This was especially frustrating with hungry and hangry and increasingly rowdy kids in tow. Even the appetizers too way too long! At Fogo, the gauchos arrive almost immediately, ensuring a steady flow of delicious meats.

Secondly, the quality of the cuts at Botteco Brazil wasn't as impressive as Fogo. While they certainly were tasty, they were generally comparable to Fogo's "Best of Brazil" cuts, which are their lower-tier offerings.

Finally, the absence of a market table was a noticeable drawback. Fogo's extensive market table with salads, sides, and cheeses adds significant value and variety to the dining experience.

Considering that Botteco Brazil's price point was closer to $50 per person, compared to Fogo's $70, you could make the case that the value is there. However, when Fogo runs their "Best of Brazil" promotion for $39, then that really ruins Botteco's value proposition.

If you're craving Brazilian churrascaria in Seattle, Botteco Brazil might be an acceptable choice. You may just be compromising quality and service a little bit.
