Been looking for yummy Eritrean/Shihani Phool for so long. Finally found a very tasty option here, as well as a genuine connection with the kind and friendly folks who own and run this small business.

The coffee is great too! They can do authentic, Habesha style coffee which is quite bold and flavorful.

Highly recommend!

Warm and friendly service. The food was great and the woman who prepared it made sure not to overwhelm my order with (hot) spice as I'd never tried the dish before. Very flavorful, just enough heat and a good portion size. The hot chocolate was great.

This little cafe in Shoreline is such a gem. Got the shakshuka and a latte and both were so good. Like I will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu. So glad they don’t sell basic bfast sandwiches. I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw their menu. Don’t come here if you are in a rush as it does take a little time but I didn’t mind. Everyone is super nice and attentive. Will be coming back!

When you combine espresso with Gelato you get an affogato. This place sells both, and they're delicious.

These are the nicest people we've ever met in a coffee shop! Great latte, perfect foam. We only had time to have a coffee but the pastries looked great and they offered breakfast in Ethiopian style, I think. Excellent seating and mellow, not too loud music. There is room to breathe here. Very interesting art on the walls. They are going to start offering crepes soon and we will be back!

Kid-friendliness: There was a child there who was part of the family who either owned the store or worked there. Very friendly place for kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a good ramp up to the level of the cafe.

Unexpected gem! The coffee was good but the surprise was the delicious Ethiopian breakfasts. The foul was really satisfying—bountiful and flavorful—with great bread from Plaza Latina. I feel energized and I won’t be needing lunch today. Definitely more punch than the usual cafe breakfast, but a treat if you’re in the mood for something different. I will be back.
