The burgers are pretty good, I like their house sauce. Fries aren't bad either. Another reviewer said their fries were soggy but I haven't experienced that - mine have always been crispy. The reason I am giving only 2 stars is due to the ordering system. Ordering online or via mobile is absolutely horrid. Whoever designed this system should be fired. They make you take a selfie to log in, but for some reason the system doesn't remember you so every time you log in you have to take a new selfie....and if youre wearing a hat, have facial hair, or maybe bright makeup it's not going to recognize you compared to the first selfie you took. So you can never log in to your account. Ok, "so just call and place an order then" you might say? I tried, and they said they don't take orders over the phone. What? You are a restaurant that doesnt take orders over the phone? Good bye. lol way too much hassle to order a burger. I'll just go to GoodBurger a few blocks down.
Three if us ate here tonight (each got gluten free burger and fries) for $70 after tax and tip. It was disgusting. I'm grateful for the gluten-free bun option so thank you there. But everything else needs improvement.We ate in the restaurant so our food would still be warm. There's no excuse for hie bad the food was. No wonder they have less than 4 stars.The only thing good about this place besides the cool robot arm that makes really bad fries (which are limp, soggy, greasy, and not crunchy- even freshly made) is the employees that were kind and helpful but seemed exhausted.My burger, which I paid extra for the lettus wrap option was the worst thing I've ever been served. Litterally one price of lettus and a tiny patty. I cannot believe how much I paid for this garbage which honestly, our $70 meal looked like we got it out of a dumpster.Shame on Caliburger. You give burgers a bad name. Step up your game or you won't last. ?You can't charge Red Robin Prices and Serve McDonald's quality and last as a business.
