One of, if not the top coffee shop in the Seattle metro area.

Excellent espresso-based drinks. A variety of milks, and very friendly service. Highly recommend. Easily worth crossing over 145th on your morning commute to I-5 or downtown.

I really wanted to like this place, but with two other perfectly good coffee shops in the same two block radius, it's hard to imagine this becoming a regular place for me.

I ordered a small iced honey nut latte, and asked about their breakfast sandwiches. She showed me the frozen jimmy deans packages straight out of the freezer and I declined. So she started to make my latte. As she was filling up a medium with ice she asked did I say small or medium. I said small but medium is fine. Then she asked did I want any flavor in my latte, and I was like oh just the honey nut latte, so whatever flavors are in that. I got my drink and had a few sips, very very overwhelmingly sweet, like a mistake had been made on the ratio of honey to coffee. I ended up tossing it and going to the place down the street. Really sad because I think these small businesses are so important! But this one is just not hitting the mark.

TERRIBLE experience. It feels odd writing a review for a coffee stand but this place is so terribly bad and I’d like to prevent others from wasting their time and money. I am confused how they are still in business.
First off, the “barista” didn’t wait for us to finish our order, she ran off twice and we had to call her back saying we were not finished ordering. Not ONLY does she take 20 minutes to make two drinks and heat up two sandwiches (none of their food is fresh FYI), the coffee ends up being burnt and the energy fusion tasted like cough syrup. It was objectively bad and I have been to a handful of coffee stands here in Seattle. The food was not good nor was it heated properly and she waited after 20 minutes to tell me that one of the pastries was out of stock. It was an almost comical experience. Please don’t waste your time or money here. Absolutely ridiculous experience.

I ordered a lemonade with peach flavor added and an iced americano with a splash of dairy free milk. I paid $10 and would not be writing this review if I just got coffee. The americano is not great but I did sip on it a little bit. However, the “lemonade” was green as shown in picture. Lemonade items are on the menu but I spent a few minutes trying to explain that I wanted lemonade and the barista showed me a bottle of lime syrup. I said “no, not lime, lemonade like on the menu. Plain lemonade with peach syrup.” I am not really sure what drink I was handed but it does not taste like lemonade. It is just sweet. I had already spent too much time trying to explain so after my coffee was remade to be iced instead of hot, I just paid and left. The barista was friendly but this trip did not work out and I will not be returning.

Didn’t try out the food, but their coffee drinks are good. I had a normal vanilla latte, not too sweet, not too bitter. Just right, and the price was reasonable👌

Super friendly owner and a great spot for morning coffee and breakfast - with cheaper prices than the Java Jane across the street. Support a black owned business.

Beautiful location, very friendly barista guy, but the coffee itself tastes like it’s from a gas station machine.

I suggest doing more research on coffee and how to make it.

Ordered two coffees: plain cappuccino and white coffee latté

Hours have been inconsistent lately so it's hard to depend on whether or not if they'll be open. When they are - the ladies who have served me have been friendly and sweet which have always made my mornings.

Worst drive thru coffee experience I’ve ever had. Bad customer service, coffee was not what I ordered, too hot (burned my tongue). I ordered a latte with honey and I got a basic drip coffee with some cheap creamer 😂 such a strange experience lol

Only have been once. Not the most friendly and my drink wasn't good. Had to use flavored creamer from home to make it tolerable. It was the least expensive of all coffee shops I've been to.
