The train wreck omelette is definitely worth the drive! Their bacon is outstanding & also their French toast! The owners are the nicest people, their friendliness makes their restaurant such a warm place to go!

Stopped in on our way home from a weekend of backpacking, and Cascadia Cafe was just the kind of quirky roadside stop you hope exists but rarely find. First off: gluten-free burger buns. A rare win for those of us who refuse to let dietary restrictions derail post-hike cravings. The burgers? Solid. But the house-made potato salad? Oh, they *really* wanted us to try it. I loved the fish and chips, crispy and perfectly fried! The tartar sauce was so tasty, even better than what I’ve had before. The clam chowder was also really good. Friendly service and such a beautiful little town. You can even see the train go by right in front of the place, so cool. Skykomish is a hidden gem!
