I will be honest, I had my doubts when my BBQ tofu sammie came out with white (ie apparently unseasoned and unsauced tofu) but was shocked to take my first bite and experience a mouthful of flavor! While I still think for visual purposes they should at least baste the tofu in BBQ, between the sauce on the sandwich plus the salty bacun (not the tempeh kind either), fresh tomato, red onion, and vegan cheese, the sandwich was not lacking in taste. The side of hummus that came with my veggies was super garlicky, which I loved, too. Free refills on the iced tea. On this trip they also had some vegan chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies plus a vegan lavender short bread. Will definitely be returning if I ever find myself in Snohomish again!
Fantastic salmon sandwich. Friendly service.
My go - to for lunch in Snohomish. The food is always fresh, the juice and smoothies are delicious and you’re eating healthy without sacrificing any of the flavors. Staff is always super helpful & friendly.
Lovely Cafe!! Delicious food, incredible bread and fabulous hummus!
Excellent food, a nice variety served by personable staff.
I've ate here twice so far and both times the food was amazing and fresh. I got the Thai tuna(my favorite) and the Garlic Aioli Burger with the Jungle Juice. The staff was very friendly and I will be back to try more yummy food.
We had the Thai tuna sandwich with chips and hummus. It’s really good. We were looking for somewhere to get a snack and we just came upon this cafe. It didn’t disappoint.
I love there portobello burger it's a great vegetarian option with the garlic anoli and I get the veggies with humans side so I can share with Coolie pup🐾
I had the BBQ tofu sandwich and got one of their fresh ginger juices. Juice was perfect! Sandwich was messy (three napkins and a hand wash for 1/2 a sandwich) and they committed the sin of not cooking the vegan bacon (or the tofu, but i think the tofu was just warmed up). Cooked veggie bacon would have added some needed texture and made the sandwich way better but it kinda fell a little short for me, especially being a cold day and wanting something more comfort food. The employee behind the counter knew what vegan was and explained that all of the sauces are vegan. They make their vegetarian items vegan by substituting vegan cheese. The day I visited, they also had three vegan soup options and I wish I had tried one. I got a vegan chocolate chip cookie to go, and they actually gave me two because they said this batch turned out a bit small, which was really nice of them! Cookies were a good texture, not dry. They had gluten free vegan chocolate chip ones as well. I would try this place again and probably try something else on the menu as the main. M Updated from previous review on 2025-03-15
Employees are knowledgeable about how to make many of the sandwiches/burgers vegan. They have smoothies/juices, soy cheese, and multiple vegan dressings (Caesar, ranch, blue cheese, green goddess, etc) for an extensive salad bar. Pesto tofu sandwich sub soy moz is my favorite along with their vegan pumpkin spice cookies they have at least half of the year.

I get the Tofu Curry sandwich every time I'm there. The bread is delicious, and they grill it to perfection every time. The sandwich is loaded with flavor. I literally get sad when I get to the last bite or two. My taste buds never want the experience to end! I haven't tried the salad bar there, though it always looks appealing and really fresh. I'm so glad this place exists! We occasionally catch a live band in Snoho with friends. These friends, while always open to trying a vegan place for me, usually can't go a meal without meat & dairy. The live bands play in bars/restaurants that don't offer a single vegan item and the place reeks of burning flesh. I can barely breathe until I adjust to the odor. While Grilla Bites doesn't have entertainment or cocktails, I love being able to depend on them for a delicious vegan meal when I'm spending time in downtown Snohomish.
This food is always 11/10. I recommend the Thai tuna sandwich, any juice & the salad bar :)

Love LOVE the tuna sandwich either half or whole, such an excellent source of protein and omegas for me and my new massage patients at Cedar Avenue Medicine where folks are interested in their muscular , heart and brain functions. A huge grade above all others I have ever tried. Thank you, Owner Ann Dotai, for this offering.
