Stopped in at 2:30 11/16/25 was going to order the special peach margarita but since they did not ask me I did not, I ended up ordering the lunch duo of enchilada and Chilli Reinjo, ordered Carnia Asada meat, the meat was bad, had the sickening sweet smell and taste of meat going bad. Mentioned it when asked how my meal was, but they did nothing to rectify it. Also ordered before the lunch hour ended at 3:00 but ended up paying the full price rather than the $12 lunch price ended up paying $16 .Chilli Reinjo was the smallest ever. I ended up ordering the Banana chimi desert, to try and get rid of rotten meat flavor and maybe prevent myself from throwing up, the dessert was good even though I did end up throwing up in the parking lot. Needless to say, I did not leave a tip.

The food is tasty, and the staff is quick and friendly. My son (13) and I like to split the chicken fajitas. I also like to stop here after a MTB night ride at Paradise Valley Conservation Area.
Parking: Parking at dinner time is not an issue, not sure about lunch time because some of the parking is shared with a business park.
Kid-friendliness: The kids easily find something they like on the menu, and they like to get a Jarritos drink.

Extremely good Mexican food that we all love in our family. Their Jalapeno coins were crunchy and hit the spot. Their Tacos, Burritos and Chile Rellenos were mouth watering. Their desert selection is out of this world and I would come back again in a heartbeat.

Wow! What a great surprise. We were coming here years ago (pandemic) and it was okay. But dang, this meal was exceptional. The meat was tender, the flavor great, and the service top notch.
I gave atmosphere 4 stars because it was packed. Congrats to them for packing the place, but it was rocking in there.
I recommend Ixtapa to anyone who loves Mexican food.

The food was very commercial even the fried ice cream we believe came from a freezer and dropped on a plate.. not made in house.... all the menus are English mixed with Spanish but mostly English.. wait staff fairly friendly but not quick pased at all. Nothing special here that your going to be impressed with we all had different plates of food and super predictable. Some might give that a more positive spin but I was hoping for some flare.. the Monroe location is nicer inside and out.
