If you’re looking for the best BBQ meat, then this is your place. Worth the drive! Brisket literally melts in your mouth, and the cornbread was so moist (came with a delicious honey cinnamon butter). We ordered the family style option, and we all ate until we were full.

We used J&L to cater a small party for my wife's birthday. We had the brisket, pulled pork, and chicken thighs. We had mashed red potatoes, Mac & Cheese, and cornbread sides. Everyone loved it. We would definitely use them again.

Stopped randomly with my son. Wow some of the best Brisket I've had. Pork ribs were a little dry and low flavor but it could have just been an off day. Can't say enough good things about the brisket.

Yum! Brisket was smoked and tender, & I wanted more. Beans were delicious, including the next day. Collard greens were done just right & I didn't have any leftovers. He said the ribs were good too. Only 4 tables. Most people got it to go. We will be back for sure. 😁

We had J and L cater our wedding back in 2023, easily one of the best BBQ places around. The food is excellent staff super nice and they were really easy to work with when it came to catering. Since then, we have returned quite a few times as we cant get enough of their BBQ, their ribs just fall off the bone and their potatoes salad is highly addictive. We recently moved to snohomish and happy that theyre right down the street from us now.

Tasty tiny BBQ spot with a tiny parking lot. We got brisket, tri-tip and sausage with fixings. The meat was perfect. Tender, flavorful with just the right amount of smoke. Cornbread was sweet & came with a nice cinnamon butter, more of a dessert than a side but delicious. Beans and Mac & Cheese pretty one note but fine, both were improved by a little spicy BBQ sauce. Collard greens were some of the best I have had at a restaurant, salty to be sure but not enough to take away from the great flavor and texture. I certainly plan to return if I find myself in Snohomish at the end of a week.
A small restaurant with huge character. This place is nearly always packed. It smells amazing anywhere within a two block radius. Great menu with options for everyone. All the traditional meats are represented. Great side dishes, good portions, and very reasonable prices. The Cowboy Caviar was very tangy and refreshing. The brisket melts in you mouth. And, a little of thier signature hot BBQ sauce goes a long way. You won't be disappointed. 😋👍

I have been here twice and this is very good BBQ. Prices feel a little high but the purpotions are really good. The food and sides taste great. Staff is nice. Food is out fast. Recommend.

Having our wedding catered by J&L was the talk of the night! Every guest raved about the dinner, even packing up leftovers to bring home. Joel was so great to work with and knew exactly how much food to bring for our guest count. Every single dish was delicious, but the highlights were easily the chicken, the potato salad, and the corn break. I cannot wait to eat there many more times after our wedding.

Food was SO good! Our group had chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, a chicken thigh, Mac n cheese, baked beans, cowboy caviar, Brisket and cornbread (the cinnamon honey butter is amazing!!!) Dining area is small but clean and there is outdoor space. Service was fast and friendly and it should be said again: The food was delicious!!
