Great coffee, disappointing service. This morning, I was in town meeting with a client and decided to stop by for some coffee. While the coffee itself was excellent, unfortunately the customer service left a lot to be desired. The barista was extremely dismissive, which made the experience less enjoyable . A little more warmth and attentiveness would go a long way. Based on that, it’s unlikely I’ll return.

This coffee shop is incredibly cozy, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. I come here every weekend, everyone is so friendly, and the coffee is absolutely amazing.

I appreciate this place even more now that Looking Glass is gone, and the newer place is awful. Proper Joe’s coffee is sublime, very dark and smooth — perfect shots, each time, lots of crema. They take their coffee seriously. Sometimes the baristas can come across as too serious, and kind of rude tbh. But their coffee is good enough that I’ll return.

Been going here for the past 6 years. It’s a small, cozy, and inviting pocket of peace. The coffee is great, the staff is friendly, and this place supports local artists! I would recommend this place to anyone new to snohomish!
