This was my 1st visit to Monte Alban 2. Entering the restaurant is a bit confusing as you order from the counter in front of the kitchen. The menu boards are large screen displays mounted up high on the wall. It was challenging for me to read, but I figured it out. I ordered #9 Flautas. I stayed in the restaurant to eat. They brought out a small basket of very tasty chips and salsa plus a glass of water. The #9 dish arrives shortly after. It's hot and well presented with fresh vegetables, rice, and refried beans. The food was excellent, quality ingredients, and flavorful. The salsa is good. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch and recommend trying Monte Alban.Parking: The parking lot has very tight spaces.

Everything I had here had great depth of flavor, was fresh, and generous portions. We ordered sopes (adobada), tamales, and pozole while we were there. The pozole was our favorite but everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dining room was cozy and very very clean. Thank you for providing great mexican food to Snohomish! We will be back!!!

Our favorite is the adobada tacos! Food is always good but inflation has hit hard! Skip the nachos - they are stale 60% of the time.

I’ve ordered from both the restaurant, and the food truck - the food has equally been great. I absolutely love the adobada tacos smothered in their amazing habanero salsa. Their tortas are amazing as well, I definitely frequent this place.
