We are so grateful to have chosen Aahaar for our wedding catering. All of our guests enjoyed the food - every dish was delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented.

The chef-owners were personally involved throughout the process, from menu planning and tastings to offering thoughtful recommendations. They worked with us to create a blend of Marathi and Telugu dishes, even customizing flavors to keep everything truly authentic. They absolutely nailed the batata vada and even created a special fusion dish — rasam dhokla — which was a huge hit.

On the day of the wedding, their execution was flawless. The staff was professional, attentive, and made sure everything ran seamlessly.

Ambience is cozy and quiet, and the service was prompt.
I tried the cheese masala dosa, idli, and paneer butter masala with garlic naan. The dosa and idli were excellent - I’d definitely recommend this place for South Indian dishes. However, the paneer butter masala wasn’t quite up to the mark; it had an artificial color and didn’t resemble the authentic version of the dish. I’d stick to their dosas, idlis, and similar specialties.

This place has gotten very expensive!! They charge an average of $6 to $8 more than other Indian place while the quality is the same! A curry costs $25 compared to other places which have them for max $18, nothing special about the taste or serving quantity! I don’t go here just for this! Are they being greedy? is the food organic and locally grown?

The food here is always amazing, and comes out fast. It’s perfect after a hike in the area. All the curries I’ve tried there have been delicious, and I would highly recommend the dosas. The halwa with ice cream is also great. The market fried fish (whole trout) was a little small for the price though the spices and flavor were excellent; however, I wish it had come with some rice. I super appreciate the variety of vegan and vegetarian options.

I ordered Paneer Makahni Togo and after getting it home and when opened it, the curry was blood red color. Called Aahar and spoke and they confirmed they add color.
I appreciate them being honest and I don’t mind if that’s how they make, but they should be upfront and mention that in the menu. Due to reactions, we in our family never touch anything that has color.

The food is fabulous, atmosphere is relaxing and the service is excellent. My absolute favorite is the Butter Chicken along with the Samosas. The Cranberry dipping sauce is delicious! Highly recommend. The Chicken Tikka Masala is excellent as well.

A popular stop on the way back from a hike along i90.

Delicious and great quality South Indian food. Definitely give it a try.

We especially love the nilgiri chicken, rasam and badam halva but have tried several other things over the years.

It can get busy, so try to reach early.

We LOVE this place! We stayed overnight in Snoqualmie and ate here and then we came in the morning again to bring more food home the next day. And we had so much fun too! We were there at closing and there was accidentally a problem with the music speakers and suddenly it was blasting so loud and it was only us and one other table and we were all laughing so much. It was really funny. We had the most delicious gluten free dessert there badam halwa. I've been thinking of it ever since and I even tried to make it at home, but it was not as good. The mango lassi was so yummy too and I really loved the chicken cashew korma but when we went back again they did not have it, so I don't know if they have it all the time or only special, but I hope they will have it again because I will be back!

Aahaar didn’t serve me a meal. They served me a spiritual experience disguised as curry. Every bite was a perfectly spiced love letter from the universe. The naan? Soft enough to cradle my emotional baggage. The tikka? Bold enough to heal generational trauma. I went in hungry and came out a better person. 10 out of 10. Would reincarnate just to eat here again.

This is our must have place whenever we visit Seattle. Our favorite is Avial. We hardly recommend if you enjoy coconut base curries.

It was one of the most delightful meal I've had in quite a while! Tried the Kal Dosa, Pudina Rice that came with applam, raita and pickle. Everything was great. The music was relaxing. The service was so fast. Overall, what a wonderful place!
