The whole cloves of garlic in the garlic chicken curry were so wonderfully stewed that they melted in my mouth like butter.

Malabar porota = Kawaan frozen paratha
Fooling customers … please do better… just serve cooked food and not frozen food

I had the spinach pakora it was too dry and brittle so we had to order ketchup to gulp it down.
They serve dosas without the sambar which was odd I have never experienced that in any other restaurant that dosa is served without the sambar. Won’t go there again, look for better alternatives even if you have to drive far to get food and service

We ordered Naan, Kadai paneer, samosa, poori and few more items. Naan was definitely a frozen one(not prepared fresh), samosas were uncooked, poori was too oily(and interesting that poori does not automatically come with a potato sabzi or channa). Even if I ignore all these mistakes, cannot tolerate green beans in kadai paneer. I had a horrible experience and when I shared feedback with owner, he said oh ok and took the plates away. they didnt care considering so many people keep visiting them anyway. probably their non veg might be good but for a proper south indian vegetarian like me, this restaurant is a no go and will never visit them again. want to give 0 stars but 1 is the minimum I can choose.

We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The ambience was nice and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, which was a big plus.
Food was average..we tried two types of biryani - Amara chicken and regular chicken, but both were below average in terms of flavor. It wasnt made in traditional style so lacked the flavor and spices. In appetizers, the fish fry was delicious.
However, the paneer curry I ordered was overly sweet, with a noticeable amount of food coloring. Despite these, I plan to return and try other vegetarian options esp. dosas hoping they will be better.

Overall it was a nice experience. Food was really great. Highly recommend Cocunut veg kurma. Garlic naan was very soft.
Quantity is right amount but little bit on pricey side. Will definitely visit again

when I crave South Indian food that feels like a home cooked meal, I go here. This place is also amazing to go to after a nice long hike. Best doses as well as chicken dishes. Love it!

Our family of 7 had a great time with delicious dishes that we could order in advance while waiting for the availability of table. Raj, the owner was very kind to accommodate our customizations to the dishes. Nice ambience with sweet instrumental music playing in the background. Our favorite dishes were Avial, Chettinaad Curry, Gobhi Manchurian, and the Malabar parotta. Must try...
