Very disappointing experience. This used to be one of our goto restaurants in the snowqualmie area but the quality of food has degraded a lot in the last few months.
We ordered veg curries, fried idli, naan n lacha paratha and to our surprise, everything tasted so stale and frozen. We have never had frozen naans in any Indian restaurant in seattle area in last 8 yrs.
we also tried puri which was very deep fried and just had a very thin layer of bread that also affected our stomach later.

Definitely won’t recommend going to this restaurant for now. Hope they bring the old quality of food back!

If I could give this place 6 or 7 stars I would. This is hands down the best Indian Restaurant we have ever eaten at.

We loved the dosa, buttered chicken, and I got the super spicy varutyakari. So good!!! . All the food is exploding with flavor. They have a great balance of fat, acid, and salt. Oh, and the little bowl of soup you get to start the meal is delicious.

Amazing family owned restaurant tucked away in this small town. If you like flavorful food this place is a must try.

A regular visitor over the years whenever we are on I90. They have kept up their quality..the dosas and valipoo vadaa are very tasty.

Decent Indian food option in the Snoqualmie falls area. The restaurant is a little congested, but the hosts are friendly and offer some very good tasting food. The spice levels are kid friendly. There is a decent variety of food options to choose from. The serving quantities were not the best you can get for the price, but given the location and limited Indian food options in the area - I wouldnt complain. The service in this location has an opportunity to improve. Probably they get a little carried away during rush. I’d still recommend this place, and would stop by for another visit.

Overall, Aahaar is a hidden gem in Snoqualmie — easily one of the best South Indian restaurants on the Eastside. Whether you’re craving southern Indian food or classic tiffins like idly and dosa, this place will not disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes from their menu!

The staff was polite and attentive, and the service was quick even during the busy hours. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and family-friendly, with a cozy South Indian vibe.

I stepped in to get takeout after a recommendation from my dental hygienist. It smelled so good I didn't want to leave. The spicy chicken rice was delicious but needs more yogurt sauce. Samosas were so good even after a long drive home. Coconut prawns were fine. Butter chicken was delicious but spicier than we're used to. We will be back!

We stopped by Aahar and absolutely loved it! The place is super clean, cozy, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Service was quick, and everyone had a smile on their face.

We tried the dosas and their fried idli — both were seriously amazing! Everything was full of flavor and tasted super fresh. You can tell they put real care into the food.

Overall, just an awesome spot with great vibes, tasty food, and top-notch service. Definitely a new favorite — can’t wait to go back!

We hired Aahar to cater lunch for over 200 guests at my daughter's wedding this summer, and they did an amazing job. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and the spice level was just right. Not too spicy, not too bland, not too oily—just perfect for everyone.

Communication with Ramya and Ajay, the owners of Aahar, was super easy and quick. They answered all our questions and made sure everything was clear. The food was delivered right on time, which helped the whole day go smoothly.

The food really made the wedding feel extra special. Every guest had something good to say about it, and many went back for second (and even third!) servings. For an Indian wedding, where food is one of the most important parts of the celebration, that’s the greatest honor a caterer can receive—and they absolutely earned it.

I would definitely recommend Aahar to anyone planning a big event. They helped make our celebration unforgettable.
