If you're rolling through South Bend, make it a point to stop here. The food is deeeeeeelicious! Everything is battered and fried, but it wasn't greasy or heavy. There was the perfect amount of batter on our fish, oysters, and shrimp. The french fries were also cooked to perfection - not a single limp fry in the basket. I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area.

Ordered the fried oysters and clams. Excellent fried oysters! Coleslaw was delicious too.

Great fried cod, very thin breading and tender fish inside, and 5 2oz pieces for $17 is a bargain! Pretty fast service even with several people ahead of us in the line. Very nice picnic tables with umbrellas for shade to eat at, though beware of the wind - the napkins and the sauces will attempt to fly away. The fries were fried without salt so tasted a bit odd. We'll definitely stop by again the next time we drive by!

The fried oysters are cooked perfectly and are a very healthy portion. Oyster shooters were delicious also; they also come with a souvenir shot glass!

Ok yummy..my wife and I ate two orders of the gluten free fish. Yummy fish. Yummy coating. And when you're old and need helpers for your digestive system the yeast flakes help. We ate on one of the umbrellaed tables the scenery was fresh.. Like fish and chips, oysters or clam chowder? Eat here.

Delicious, friendly...with tables in the sun and near the water. I can't wait to stop here again!!

Delicious, fresh cooked when ordered. We had the cod and chips and breaded clams. Both tasty.

Little roadside gem! Deliciousness. I love their Fish and Chips, and coconut shrimp, yum yum. Husband loves their fried oysters. Son likes their fish and chips like me. And our doggy enjoys a French fry or two! LOL. Super nice, genuine friendly customer service. Always welcomed and enjoy our meals. We like stopping here each time we head to Long Beach and even on our way back home, never had a disappointing experience. Highly recommend if you're craving fish and chips! Enjoy!

This is solid fried seafood stand along the side of the road, right off the 101. Nothing spectacular, but it was a good meal. They use a very light breading which is how I like my fish and chips. Almost like a chicken patty breading but lighter and on fried fish, it was different and good. Nice small business operation here.

Omg probably one of the best places for fish and chips! The fried cod fish was cooked perfectly and so flaky. The fried oysters were also delicious and tasted so clean. There are outdoor picnic tables with shading to sit at. Though there were a lot of people, the food was served pretty quick.

Y.U.M! This place does a brisk business from locals and folks traveling through. As a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kiddos), we ordered a shrimp, oyster, fish combo and added clam strips to it. ($25 to feed all of us?!?) It was the perfect amount of food for us. Our kids enjoyed trying things other than fish and it was so delicious. You flavor your food with their selection of spices and salts (Slap Your Mama was awesome) and enjoy! They have lots of tables that are well-spaced on a large grassy lawn - couldn't be a more perfect spot for kids that have been cooped up to eat and then run around for a bit. We will be back next time we are headed to the beach!

So glad Jessie's (they also operate a fish processing plant and retail outlet in Ilwaco) stepped in and re-opened this great stopping place in South Bend (used to be called East Pointe Seafood). Great place to load up on fresh oysters by the pint or the quart, in several sizes from x-small (sometimes even yearlings) to jumbo. Fresh dungeoness crab. Smoked oysters and canned fish products and local faire. Try Jessies own smoked oysters, their simple and delicious. I almost went 5-star here, if it werent for the slightly high prices and limited hours. maybe I'll change my mind later. Friendly staff, they'll usually offer to bag up your treasures in ice unless you were like, rude or something.
