We had lunch for the 1st time ever at Skylar's! New Year's Day on our way to Long Beach... The food and service was prenominal! I had the homemade clam chowder, and 5 grilled oysters, and my husband had the fish and chips! Excellent Service, Friendly atmosphere, and Superb Chowder for me! I would love the recipe... as that day we went to go dig razor clams.

We had the elk burgers and they were yummy! I had the prime rib. It was juicy and tender. The service was awesome. Friendly people working there. We going with our kids and grandkids today. Yeah!

The seafood highlight of our Pacific Northwest trip. Incredibly happy we got off the highway for this stop. Great service. The best bowl of clam chowder I’ve ever had and great oysters (recommend the oyster BLT).
