How does it take 20 mins to make a coffee? Place is ridiculous! Over priced poor service. Will not be coming back

I have come several times and I like it, but there are already twice that the same person treated me a little aggressively, making hand gestures so that I can move forward and order. Her name is Linda, she should improve her customer service.

There’s a reason we avoid this location. My husband ordered a peppermint mocha, he got a lukewarm latte with no flavor whatsoever. I ordered a tall iced latte and got a grande with no syrup, just milk and ice. The baristas are mean and slow, it makes me sad. I worked as a Starbucks partner for years and the holiday drinks are usually great, but not here. Wish we could’ve gotten a refund for these mistakes, but it took 5-7 minutes at the window and there were people behind us.
My daughter and I loves to hang out here on weekends. When there was a mistake on my order due to misunderstanding Krystal ensured I got the refund and went up to me to apologize. This place gets busy because they do the coffee right!

Brie made my drink this morning and she did a great job. Honestly it made my Monday that much easier because I mean come on it's monday. I ordered a venti banana cream protein macha with extra banana. She made sure that there were no lumps, everything was mixed perfectly, and layered. Thank you again for doing an amazing job. 👏🏼 Mondays are hard but you made it easier for me today.
This Starbucks makes the best drinks and has the most friendliest staff. One employee does stand out every time I go there and that’s Yolanda! She always has a smile on her face and spreads positivity both to the customers and her co workers. She is a shining star, I hope she is valued and appreciated. She definitely has a bright future ahead!

On September 19, 2025 at 6:33 PM, my two friends and I walked into the Starbucks in Frederickson in Puyallup and immediately sensed hostility. There was no greeting, no welcome, and no acknowledgment of our presence until we physically approached the counter to place our order.
Shortly after we ordered, a gentleman came in after us, ordered a drink and a pastry, and was treated entirely differently. His pastry was hand-delivered to him, and his drink was called out promptly. Meanwhile, our drinks were quietly left sitting on the counter without anyone calling our names or letting us know they were ready. Watching someone who ordered after us receive his order first made the unequal treatment undeniable.
The contrast could not have been clearer. We felt racially profiled and dismissed because of our race. In 2025, it is appalling and heartbreaking that this type of behavior still happens, especially at a company that loudly promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Starbucks, this is unacceptable. Your Frederickson location failed to uphold the values you claim to stand for, and I am sharing this so others are aware of the experience we endured. I urge Starbucks to take a serious look at how customers are treated and address the biases on display in your stores.

This location frequently gets orders wrong or poorly prepares drinks you order. Frequently out of stock. I really do not understand why this place is the way it is and it’s a shame because it’s the closest one to us. Recommend using the Parkland or Frederickson locations instead.

This review is solely for, and earned by Allison. Not only did she know my drink when I walked in, she pivoted from making drinks to taking my order (by asking if I wanted my usual latte, and I don't come in that often), then went back to making the coffee drink. Small talk produced the fact that she's been doing this for 13 years, it shows. Allison, if you can find my previous review, you will know how much it means to have your expensive, guilty pleasure ($7), craft coffee made correctly. Instead of leaving a little grumpy that I wasted money on a poorly or incorrectly made drink, I left happy and enjoying my craft drink. BTW, I've shared my previous experiences with Starbucks Corporate, and all they wanted to do is offer me a refund or credit, all I want is a coffee made right. Genuinely - Thank you!

Great customer service no matter where drive thru, lobby, or phone. I enjoy gong to this Starbucks I recently went to another one and it was a horrible experience. It was so bad I am thinking of being done with starbucks all together. I wanted to give this starbucks a shout out before.
Thank you!!! You all ROCK!!!
3 because the coffee was terrible.
Specifically went to get the Midnight Drink that I was unaware they did not have any more. It was still on the board without any indication that it sold out. Since I couldn’t just pull out of the drive thru, I requested a cup of ice water and they said they don’t give out even though I was stuck in the drive through. Generally I like this Starbucks but it was extremely frustrating.
It's Starbucks. Over priced and everything is run of the mill OK.
Poor customer service
