Very bad service, owner or cook was sitting outside on chairs while i was standing to order the food, and he was just drinking his beer, when I asked for help then he said oh i can take your order, then i was with my brother, and he asked for restroom, owner said no only i can use the restroom because I placed the order, but my brother cannot use it.. very bad customer service and behavior, save your time and money.. food was also ok ok ..

I have been taking my family to Kinza for over 20 years. They are always super friendly and have the best beef teriyaki anywhere. ( I have ate teriyaki from Seattle to New York) They are the best.
Kid-friendliness: Since I had taken my grandson there many times since he was small and now I get to take his two boys. The owner is great with the kids.

Tables are dirty, flys landing on my food! Chicken is rubbery and definitely cooked previously and reheated rice was burnt and crunchy. Worst teriyaki I have experienced. water cup has a brown stain on it.

Great local spot for teriyaki & katsu! It might not look like much from the outside, but the food is always fresh and hot, their food inspection rating is great, the service is always friendly.
Have tried quite a few katsu dishes around Spanaway and Kinza is the only one that serves /good/ katsu with a smile that I keep coming back for. The salad dressing is also really delightful, and the combos are super affordable.

Very disappointed. Asked for the dip for kinza prawns. They had no idea what I was talking about. The chicken teriyaki just not the sameSo sad to see former owners left. I will not be back and warn friends and family.
