Romeo was our chef and he was great, food was good. Nothing exceptional but it was exactly what you expect when you go out for hibachi. I really liked the shrimp and the steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it. Romeo was entertaining and a very good chef.
I haven’t been here in probably 15 years and it hasn’t changed at all, which is not a bad thing. If you are hungry, this is the best Japanese steakhouse in Puyallup/Spanaway.

Good place to enjoy . You also enjoy other people’s company . Food is good as well but it’s good place for family gatherings and celebrations. Of course food is cooked in front and fresh .

Honestly kinda sad because I love this place, and especially the rice. It’s been since October 31st since I’ve been there and they have dramatically decreased their portion size. For 46 bucks you get 5 shrimp, 6 cubes of chicken, and some veggies with a laughable portion of fried rice. When I tell you the only reason why people come here is for the fried rice and show, that’s truly it. This is no longer worth the money since they decreased the portion size and I will no longer be going as a result.

Chefs service was amazing! Very friendly and talkative. Sat with empty drinks most of our multiple hour long visit. Food was okay! Pretty salty and chickens texture was rough but overall not too bad

The Japanese drums and the look of an ancient Japanese village really set the atmosphere. Cody was our cook last night and he did a great job entertaining us but still giving us time to talk amongst ourselves. I had a special request on how he cooked my portion of the meal with no salt but the meal still tasted great with all fresh ingredients. It was a very good experience and I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Vegetarian options: I did go pescadarian with the salmon option for the meal. There are plenty of vegetables in the fried rice to go with the meal and the taste was awesome.

Dietary restrictions: I asked for no salt in my meal and it still tasted great because the ingredients were very fresh.

Chef's are all well trained for both entertainment and food preparation. Support staff is at times stretched thin, but you're not (typically)left waiting to long for refills and such.
Was surprised when we ordered hot tea and waitress brought sugar packets in the cups we were to drink out of (training/sanitary standards SHOULD indicate clean cups and flavor packets in their own container)
We have gone here many times over the years and glad to see the continued improvements and we have always left very satisfied.

Parking: Difficult to park larger vehicles, they use the small area they have the best they can
