The food here is GREAT! Wednesday night special is The Dirty Burger for 1/2 price…. $4 AND you get fries or tater tots!!! The burger is delicious! If you have been around the PNW and ate at the old Frisco Freeze, the burger at Hideaway is as good or… better!! You can bring your kids with and enjoy the game on TV!!

I had delivery no fries that the receipt clearly says. Would not order again.

This place caters to their regulars. As soon as I sat down I realized no one was happy to see me. There were two bar staff, the bartender and a table server. My server wasn’t welcoming at all and didn’t even smile or say hello. She gave me a menu and I didn’t interact with her again. The bartender came over and took my order and brought my lunch. I didn’t interact with her again either. I wanted another drink but sat waiting and waiting. She didn’t even bring my check. When I finally decided no one was coming back I went up and said I was ready to cash out. I paid my ticket and left without tipping anything. All that being said, the Bloody Mary I ordered was bomb. And the burger I ate was really good. I probably won’t go back.

From the moment I arrived the staff was extreamly friendly and attentive. The food was great, recommend the fish & chipw w/ chowder, excellent experience. Will definately save this location and be back soon!

We lived in the area for many years before deciding to stop for a meal. This place does not disappoint. I just never reviewed them before.

Tuesday, after meeting officials at the Pierce County Fairgrounds to see where we will be giving horse trail rides during the fair from 8/7 - 8/10, hint hint, we stopped for a meal before heading off to other errands.

Since we were last here, the inside has been remodeled and updated. The changes were very nice and definitely made the place much more cozy and family friendly for a daytime or evening meal.

The bartender greeted us warmly and told us to choose our table. Menus, water and coffee were immediately brought to us. There were a few changes to the menu from the last time we were there. All good!!

I ordered the Sammie meltie, AKA Patty Melt with tater tots. Ray ordered the Dirty Burger with an extra patty and tater tots.

Our meals came out quickly and were fresh and piping hot. I can’t remember the last time I had a patty melt with such wonderful ooey gooey cheese. The grilled onions were sweet and didn’t bite back.

Ray’s dirty burger also had ooey gooey cheese too. It was loaded and was no less than a 2 handed burger. Once picked up he could not put it back down, because it was so loaded it would have fallen apart. The bartender checked on us often to make sure everything was OK. More napkins was our only request.

The restrooms were remodeled as well. I loved the vanity for the sink. Of course I had to take a picture.

The music was from the 70’s and 80’s and did not blast us out. All in all we had another great meal and another good experience.

A little loud with Friday night off work crowd sitting in bar. Our 1st time, love that they have little burgers 🍔 hubby got a BLT, bacon is great, thick and plenty.

Update $4 dirty burger Wednesday is such a bargain, $3 to add tos or fries. Yes please! We'll be back!

The BEST, most perfectly cooked steak, awesome tots and top notch mozzarella sticks. Super awesome waitress who always remembers our drinks!! Love this place!!

The food is good, but the prices are only going up. The staff says mostly because of tariffs. The service is professional and friendly. They got rainiers for 6 dollars a pint.
The worst offense is they got a karaoke machine and they don't do karaoke anymore. Overall it's a four out of five, but you can always check yourself.
