I went back in after the old owners had to shut down, just to see what happened since... the first thing the bartender does is badmouth the old owners for doing what they needed to do with the debt they were put in trying to keep the place open. Needless to say, I didn't stick around to try the food. It's back to a Red & Gold house again and being run into the ground. Sound Guy's still great, but he's only there for the pay now, nothing else. It's no longer home away from home and, from what I've heard from others, that bartender still can't keep her mouth shut.RIP RumorsRIP Jaxon

The manager can't keep her personal life out of her professional life. The drinks are over priced and under sized. I've seen bigger specimen cups at a UA. The menu is limited, but seeing how the food sucks, a limited menu is a good thing. The pool tables have dead rails. This used to be my home away from home, but since reopening as Sam's, the joint has gone downhill.

I'll go back someday and few update this review.I've been here about 5 or so times now and every time I come, I feel more at home. Great drinks, great music, respectful environment. On top of all that, definitely my favorite place to eat. If you're coming to play pool, you'll definitely have a great time with the folks here.

The people sell pot openly and smoke it in the back. The food the worst. I worked in restraints and managed them. There are reports of people getting sick from the food here. This place should be closed down. DO not eat here or drink. I have seen the bar tender putting drinks that customers drank out of back into the bottle.

Rumors was great fun! We went to listen to the Billy Shew Band and had dinner. We had a blast dancing, making new friends, enjoying the musicianship. That band was fun and it was a treat to watch them all work!!!! Loved the saxaphone player and that really added to the music! We will go again!
