Stopped into the Spangle Saloon tonight. I never expect much from a small town bar but I'm blown away each time. My bartender Joni was attentive and anticipated the needs of everyone in the bar. I ordered fish and fries and honestly expected some deep fried sub par rubber.... nope. Full fillers of white fish were beer battered and not overcooked. The texture was perfect and the house made tartar has some extra spice that makes it absolutely amazing. It's small and crowded when busy but otherwise a great stop

The broasted chicken was delicious. The onion rings were a favorite. The batter wasn't heavy or thick. It was worth the drive from Spokane for the dinner and drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive.

My wife and I are stuck in town on Tuesdays because the kids go to the Awana that night. This has become our go to place while we wait. It has become the regular date night place for my wife and I. The food is great and the server is great. we look forward to it every Tuesday.
