My husband and I had previously dined at 1898 last summer and enjoyed the experience, so we decided to try our luck as a non-reservation holder for Valentine's Day. Yet another great experience! Though the restaurant was busy, we had a very short wait time to be seated. Our waiter Nick was very pleasant, well engaged, and was kind enough to snap a photo of us for our memories. This is my favorite quiet lunch spot, with a stunning golf course view. The food is above par lol, including the outstanding salads and special cocktails. Last week, we had the added delight of observing two bald eagles soaring up high while we dined.
We live nearby and it was our first time going here. The restaurant looks great. It was super busy on Saturday, so I’m happy we booked a table. We came here to celebrate the wedding anniversary and we got a super cute card and a desert. Their steak was great! We will definitely come again!
