Ordered a Big Plate Teriyaki Chicken with a side of Mac and a Bowl of Teriyaki Chicken. Total came out to around $40 after tip. For $40 I was hoping for a better reward than small portions, watered down Teriyaki sauce, and missing Macaroni side. I have been a devoted customer for years and this will be my last time. Serious decline in service, cleanliness of the facilities, and the food has changed to be unrecognizable. Cutting corners to save money will only lose loyal customers. I can get better chicken teriyaki from the freezer section at any grocery store. 10/10 would NOT recommend Aloha.
I didn't think it was a scoop and go type of food service
The food was barely edible I had terrible teriyaki chicken with pretty good Mac salad and the kitchen was filthy
Note: I have 5 decades in the food industry.

Order was to include macaroni salad. There was none. Teriyaki chicken was in big clumps and some pieces were overcooked. Kailua pork bowl was ok.

Good main dishes but only a couple sides and if you don't like either one you're out of luck, which is rough when the prices are as high as they are here.

This restaurant is a true gem of Spokane! The food is hot and fresh. You'll be happy with the portion sizes. I have been in several times and the service & food is always top notch!

Awesome little spot. They gave me little bits of extra they had just cause and hooked it up with a bunch of sauce to try because I was curious. Kalua pork was amazing and enjoyed their Mac salad too. Overall great spot.

This place used to be fantastic. The teriyaki sauce was thick and sweet, but at some point, it seems they started diluting it with soy sauce, making it thinner and saltier. Recently, it seems they've changed it again because now it’s just bland. This used to be one of my top 5 spots to eat, but with these recent changes, it wouldn't even make my top 20.

All they did to make my order a "large" was just add a ton of their tasteless rice instead of adding any more of the protein. Unlikely I'll be back which is unfortunate cause some of the staff is pretty cool 🤙🏽

Aloha Island Grill on Monroe in Spokane, Washington was in 2012 and is still in 2024, the #1 Hawaiian restaurant I have ever been to. I was a baseball player for the Zags in 2012 and used to come to aloha for post-game/practice meals. I’m back again and this time, they have honestly gotten even better. My hometown is in AZ and have not too many options for Hawaiian but I highly recommend giving this place a visit. You will not be sorry you did!
