The staff at this store made what could have been a very transactional pickup a very fun and enjoyable experience. They were very friendly and helpful! We got 2 free filling samples each and great recommendations for what to select. They even gave us some crane game tokens just for having to wait. It was so nice! It’s nice to go somewhere where people are so naturally kind and you can tell enjoy working there. We will be back!

Neat place 👌🏼. It has a row of claw machines along the front window inside the place to keep you entertained while waiting for your puffs. Speaking of puffs ... these are big and generally filled. The pastry was fresh, fluffy and flacky. The filling was very creamy and not overly sweet, so you can really taste the flavors. Got the ube and dulche leche puffs, both with vanilla fillings; also the chocolate, macha and ube fondants to try. Gonna have to come back and try the other flavors 😋 ---------‐‐----------- Update: 8-26-25 Had to get more before I go back to Texas. This time, I got the Oreo Cookie Crumble Eclair with cookies & cream filling, Hurry Eclair with vanilla filling, S'more Eclair with chocolate filling, and a Taro Custard drink. Beard Papa's does not disappoint 🙌🏻 👌🏼 👏🏻 😋 😍 everyone that works there are super helpful and friendly.

I was amazed that Spokane got a Beard Papa's. I moved back from Seattle in 2010 and it's one of the places I missed the most. The cream puffs are decadent, yet light. Japanese desserts are typically not extremely sweet, unlike American desserts, but to me, they are perfect. The dining area is a bit on the stark side, but I always get my order to go anyway. I wish they were busier, I think if they were closer to downtown they'd have a lot more traffic.
I don’t think I have ever been more WOWed by service from a food service. The puffs are amazing so light so fluffy. I was in heaven. I ate some before I even got home for the kiddos. The customer service is impeccable, the gentleman I spoke with was adamant to give me samples and I was impressed. The food 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 I will be here again!

Always my favorite go to place for a tasty treat. Great flavors, plus going in and sampling their flavors of the month was fun and helps me plan another shell + filling combo to step out of my usual go twos. Can't wait to order here again!
I saw this on TikTok and my girlfriend and I had to come. It was so good! The people here are so friendly and it's such a relaxing place! I tried to get some things out of the claw machines but didn't. It was still fun to play them and they had really cute prizes.
