LOVE THIS LITTLE GEM! It's VERY small, only a few seats. (But there is outside seating for when the weather is nice.) They make incredible cocktails, including HOT cocktails!! They also have several different varieties of bitters, I believe they are made by the owner..(?) It has a very eclectic vibe, yet super chill-almost like you're hanging out in a friend's "Man-cave" or "She-Shack"! Oh, and did I mention that they FRESH SQUEEZE juice for your cocktails! UH-HUH! YA, GO!! I affectionately call it the "Bougie-Bijou"!

I've never been to a cocktail bar like this, and I can't wait to try it again. It's a unique space and quietly intimate. I liked how even though the place was small, the mixologist wasn't in our face and he paid attention to what he was doing, taking care with our orders. They have a nicely stocked bar with more options across the board than I would expect. But the reason this gem shines is because of their creative and delicious drink menu. I highly recommend trying it, especially if you enjoy trying drinks you can't get anywhere else that are made with quality ingredients and perfectly mixed flavors. Even if you aren't an adventurous drinker, I think you'll find something that will appeal (although I'm sure they can make a delicious version of your favorite drink). I write this because I'm super basic about the cocktails I like and rarely venture out of my comfort zone, until something sounds good. I don't like brandy, never heard of peacorn (peach and corn) syrup, but the Peacorn Sour called to me, and it was soooo worth it. I also tasted S's cocktail, though I've forgotten the name, and it had bourbon, which I don't like on its own at all, and I thought it was good. Not drink an entire one on my own good, but if I liked bourbon, this would be fantastic! good. (S confirmed the quality.) We'll be going back, and I'll look forward to whatever new delights they have to offer.

LOVE Bijou. The Browne's Addition location is so very welcoming and adorable. The cocktails - wow! Of couse delicious but even better they are totally unique, true works of art! The service is killer; they will really help you select what you like with a few questions. They make most oftheir own goods, like bitters and juices and such. It's a pleasant place as well, and the crowd is always a friendly one. Lot of regulars.

Stopped by for a coffee as some reviewer mentioned that they make a "great coffee" - not sure what they think a great coffee is, but they do have an espresso machine. Too bad that when we ordered a coffee it came with a shot of espresso and a shot of cold milk. Not a great coffee.

Pretty good drinks but the bartender blatantly drinks to excess in front of everyone. I don’t think you’re supposed to do that in WA. Wouldn’t be a problem but it seems to affect the quality of service.

What a darling neighborhood spot. I stopped by to check it out after work and felt right at home. The barkeep is friendly and knowledgeable. The clientele is fun. It's the kind of bar where everyone joins in to talk and share some conversation. This place is tiny, but big in personality. The cocktails are super unique. You'll be surprised when you discover all the tinctures and fun tea elixirs they make. The barkeep was warm and inviting. She made sure I found a perfect cocktail and felt cozy my entire stay. They also offer coffee, espresso and tea drinks all night long. Do you work a late shift and need your coffee before work? They got you covered. There is truly a beverage for everyone at Bijou. It is not located near much else but it is worth strolling over to check out. Come try something new and different.

Cute cocktail bar with a cozy inside and great drinks. One star loss due to location. It's right next to a busy street and train tracks, and the adjacent neighborhood doesn't look very safe. Not really appropriate ambiance for a cocktail place, imo.
