Great staff!

Sadly, I was shamed for asking for ice to go with my water. First time here. Won’t be back. Left without waiting for my food.

I know it must be difficult sometimes in downtown Spokane. But don’t take it out on your guests.

In response to your “response”: I PAID $1.00 for a cup of ice to accompany the Perrier I’d already purchased. I did not know if any refund. I left in disgust for the way I was treated. Was not expecting any refund. Please reconsider your approach to consumers. The current one (not just from me but others I’ve discovered online since) is not gaining you repeat customers.

Let me start by saying I’m a big fan of Dutch Bros, so when I saw a local shop with a similar name, I was excited to support a small business. I’d never been there before, but it was early afternoon and I needed some caffeine—perfect opportunity to give them a try.

I went in and decided to try their Snickerdoodle coffee special instead of my usual Snickers chai with white coffee. I also bought a parfait. The drink was actually pretty good! But unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different story.

There were only a few people in the shop, and no one behind me in line. After I paid, the woman behind the counter simply slapped my coffee down on the counter next to the parfait and walked away. She didn’t say anything, didn’t make eye contact—nothing. Her attitude made me uncomfortable, to the point where I didn’t even want to ask where the straws were.

I quietly walked back and forth trying to find one while she and another employee just stood off to the side, talking and ignoring me. I finally asked, “May I please have a straw?” She didn’t say a word—just pointed across the counter. I grabbed one and left, feeling uncomfortable and honestly a bit embarrassed.

A little while later, I realized I needed a couple dollars in change for parking. I decided to go back in and ask if they could break a dollar or two into quarters since I had just been a customer. I politely asked, and the same woman immediately said no, that she only had one roll of quarters. I said that was fine—I just needed a dollar or two. She still refused and said, “You can leave and go to the bank.”

I explained again that I had just been there and even offered to buy another drink if that would help. She just said, “I don’t feel like it.” There were a few other customers in the shop, and the way she handled it left me feeling humiliated. I left, walked to the bank, and got the change I needed without any issue.

The whole interaction made me feel extremely unwelcome. I understand if there’s a policy about not giving change, but the way it was communicated was unnecessarily cold and dismissive. There’s a big difference between saying, “I’m so sorry, we actually can’t give out quarters,” and “I don’t feel like it.”

It may seem like a small thing, but moments like that matter. As a customer, you should never walk out of a coffee shop feeling embarrassed or disrespected.

My intention isn’t to shame anyone, but to bring attention to how important it is to treat people kindly—especially in customer service. I hope this feedback reaches management, because the experience left a very negative impression, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning.

There was a customer trying to fight with one of the baristas. She handled it very calmly and quickly, but I was genuinely concerned about her welfare.

I went in for coffee and went to pour creamer in my coffee. The very young lady behind the counter who was very busy talking to her coworker. She was able to stop for a moment when I asked her why there was chunks in her creamer. She looked at me, waved me off and told me that's how all creamers are they all have chunks in them. I did not know whether to laugh cry or ask if she was serious. So I asked her if she was seriously trying to sell that to me. She said all creamers come with chunks sometimes, yeah if it's out of date. Hopefully this newer young lady that's in there is nicer and treats me like I know what I'm talking about.

Great coffee with great service. Right in downtown and near a bus stop. Always busy, but loves the line well! And these two Barista’s were friendly even when customers were picky!!! Hit the ball out of the park!

Food was good, we order egg nog and they proceeded to tell us after we waited and had already ordered. Then mixed up our sizes for the people who ordered it. Bad organization, management on things they have!!

Staff and place was cool but the chai tea tasted like milk barely any flavor and basically all ice the first time so I thought I'll try it again and asked for a little bit of ice and it was weaker than the first ? also bought a cookie that was really stale so probably not gonna go a third time

I have stopped in at brews brother's a lot. I went in on 7/15/24 to get a coffee. I was feeling light headed and short of breath. I asked for a cup of water. The guy said they couldn't just give out a cup of water. I explained I was going to buy something, I was just lightheaded. He then said I could be a bottle of water. I got up told him if I passed out I was going to sue them.
