Did a large takeout breakfast order from here a few weeks ago when we had family in town, the staff was so kind and the food was amazing. This was our first experience here and we will be back.

This is the strangest place I've ever eaten, absolutely beautiful (probably not haunted) house turned into a restaurant, when I arrived the whole place was empty not even an employee, went upstairs and I could have literally made myself a cocktail behind a bar and no one would have noticed. All of a sudden barreling up the stairs comes a wonderful young gentleman full of vigor and energy to bring us menus and take our orders. The menu was massive and looked like it was made on Microsoft paint from 1995. It was happy hour so we got onion rings and pretzel bites. The onion rings were certainly onion rings, the pretzel bites however were not, more akin to little deep fried pieces of bread with salt and cheese, and to be honest I found no issues with this. The radio was chaos and switched around and cut out. I truly felt like I was eating a David lynch film, would recommend, will be back.

Great brunch. Kaleb was a very helpful and thoughtful waiter. Couldn't have asked for a better brunch.

Very disappointed in our experience. People who sat down after our table was served, ate, paid and left before our food arrived. Pretty sure they dropped our food and it took almost another 45 minutes. I was hoping the food was worth the wait. Unsalted gravy' over cooked biscuits, scramble was less than desirable. This one is a hard pass for me on any future visits. No apologies for the wait which is fine. Won't be back. We all have lessons we must learn. Hopefully they can take this feedback and do better next time.

Great venue. They don't rush you. The food was good and the coffee was great. Not watery like so many places.I had a group come the second time and they were extremely accommodating.

Went on a Thurs night and both dishes we ordered were pretty gross. The Angel Hair pasta with shrimp had so much sauce you couldn't see the pasta. The menu said it was a pesto sauce, and it came with a creamy pink sauce. The Brisket sandwich was dry, sour tasting and looked unappetizing. it could have been a bad night for the chef, but it seemed like whoever cooked our meals didn't care, and just schlopped food onto plates. Waiter never checked in on us- took our order and brought the check.

The hash browns were among the most crisp I have eaten. The Hollandaise was superb.

We had a nice brunch here on a recent stopover in Spokane. It is in a nice neighborhood, and has some great outdoor seating. The food was good (though nothing particularly standout), and service was friendly.

Friends were visiting and we all had a nice outdoor Saturday brunch at Browne's Bistro. They have a number of covered outside and porch tables to accommodate even larger parties. Service was friendly and attentive, and coffee and food were tasty. Really like having the 2-egg version of their scrambles for smaller appetites. I had the southwest scramble with 2 eggs. Diners who like their food separated should note that their hash browns, while pretty yummy, are cooked in with the scramble rather than on the side.

I want to give this place five stars but there are just a couple things off. First, the menu needs a thorough proofreading, there are misspellings and some of the items are oddly organized and a menu item called 'Atlantic King Salmon' (ahem). The dining room is the really cozy living areas of an old house--really nice but small. Patio areas looked nice but it was too hot even with the misters going. We ordered drinks which were delicious and I noticed bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers were available so I ordered one and and the avocado hummus. The hummus was mild and featured a nice presentation with sliced grape tomatoes and cucumbers with wonderful grilled crostini; really good. The poppers came out sizzling but apparently had been frozen and were cold in the middle. The table next to us ordered them also; so I took it upon myself to warn the waiter, but that communication apparently did not reach the chef as the other guests made the same complaint. Weird that you wouldn't try one and see if you could fix it or at least say you were out. My wife ordered angel hair pasta with artichokes, a dish I would ordinarily anticipate being lightly dressed perhaps with a lemon vinaigrette, but this dish was sauced with a cream base. Nonetheless, it was really flavorful. Our waiter, a charming fellow from down south, recommended the salmon, and although I would not normally trust a restaurant that didn't know the difference between Atlantic salmon and King, I decided to give it a try anyway. Based on the size of the portion, the thickness of the filet, and the thickness of the flakes, this was clearly Atlantic. It came with a nice blueberry compote that balanced the fish pretty well and grilled veggies that were superb except for the poorly trimmed asparagus, and a pretty scrumptious risotto. Fish was overcooked which I guess shouldn't have surprised me. Overall it is a pretty nice little spot with great potential, but they could do with a professional consult to go over that menu, or at least someone who can spell.

Hosted a bridal brunch for my niece and had a wonderful time! The food, service and setting were perfect! We sat out on the patio and it was beautiful. The food was all delicious. Terri was so accommodating and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. Would highly recommend Brownes Bistro if you have an event to host or just want a delicious meal! Will definitely be back.

Hidden gem in Spokane. Great food all day long, good beer selection, awesome cocktails. Weekday brunch is a nice option to have as well.

Such a fantastic hidden treasure! Each time we go, it's a little better than before. Friendly staff, crowd, and always great food. I love the vibe & now with the weather improving, outside is a great spot to sit.

Charming neighborhood place for lunch or drinks but my breakfast was a disappointment..Sausage Pattie's were way overdone and dried up, and toast under my poached egg was too thick and tough under my poached egg.

I highly recommend Browne's Bistro if you are looking for somewhere to book a large party or event. Browne's has always been our favorite outdoor breakfast and lunch spot. The patio is large and beautiful. They also have a fire pit to sit by on colder mornings. The food and service is always top notch. When my mother in law passed away we knew we wanted to do an outdoor celebration of life and immediately thought Browne's Bistro would be the perfect location. I met with the owner Terri who is an absolute pro! She showed me options for our set up, style of dining we might want (buffet vs sit down dinner or appetizer and small plates) and was so helpful with menu and beverage choices. She had great recommendations and we came up with the perfect menu. I knew we wanted cheesecakes for dessert and was delighted they would make mini cheesecakes in whatever flavor we wanted. I asked if we could have Huckleberry and also Salted Carmel. They were so good our guests were going back for seconds and thirds. Our whole event was seamless from start to finish. We wanted it to be a celebration and it was. The food was delicious, the servers were terrific (shout out to Alyssa, Kirsty, Haley and Bailey) and our guests had a great time (many from out of town) catching up telling stories and relaxing on a sunny day. Thank you Terri and everyone at Browne's for making the day celebrating my mother in law extra special!
