I recently attended a family dinner at this wonderful Spokane restaurant. Browne’s Bistro/Browne’s Tavern has been closed due to COVID economic fall out. However, when members of our family reached out to them, they reached back and opened just for our party.
Because of my dietary restrictions, I am extremely difficult for ANY restaurateur, even under the best of situations, to serve. Usually, I may have an item or perhaps two items on a menu which I can eat. I have even been told I can not be served at particular establishments. I rarely have any real choice and am not offended by “sitting out a meal.”
Since Browne’s was opening up special for our family with one chef, I assumed I would just have a drink during the evening’s celebration and eat when I got home. To my pleasant surprise, the owner upon hearing of my restrictions, personally prepared my desired meal in accordance with my dietary restrictions. I was flabbergasted that a business owner would take the time and energy to modify his selections to my needs - especially when he was busy with other diners in our party. Furthermore, the meal was absolutely delicious!
I can not say enough about this establishment. Anyone looking for a delicious meal and the opportunity to support a great addition to Spokane’s restaurant community, should check out Browne’s Bistro/Browne’s Tavern!

Saturday night for dinner, downstairs room was closed so we went to upstairs bar, took 15 minutes for waitress to come to table, when she took our drink orders she dropped the "F" bomb on us numerous times and then took forever to bring them. Again took forever to take our food order and then dropped a plate on stairs when delivering it. She "apologized for the slow service but the owner and numerous regulars were there taking up her time"

Our friend Jaymie invited us to breakfast her. It was really great. Jaymie and I had Eggs Benedict, and my wife a scramble. Jaymie and I shared a bloody Mary, and we had coffees all around. the food was really good, the service excellent, and the fact the building is a repurposed 100 year old home you felt like you were having breakfast at Gammas( If gramma can make a mean bloody Mary). It was our first time here and I am sure it won't be our last. good idea jaymie.

This place is phenomenal. Excellent food, great atmosphere, amazing server. We don't eat out very often and came here on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Browne's Tavern is great. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We had a last minute party of 15 people within 10 minutes they were able to accommodate us! Our server Jack was incredible! Very attentive and super nice! Food was also amazing!! I highly recommend this place!
