We went here on March 15th, 2025, for breakfast. I get it was St Patrick weekend, and they were super busy. So I accepted their 30.to 45 mins wait time. We got there around 10 am. Got seated around 10.45am. The waitress gave us water and didn't return till about 45 mins when one of us got up to ask for some coffee while we waited. She came back with coffee and took our orders. We were a group of 6. While waiting, she didn't return to fill up our coffee or drinks. I was so frustrated. We finally got our meal at 12.30 pm. I should have left, but I had already waited long enough. Top it off, my pancake and eggs order arrived cold. I was very disappointed. I would have appreciated an update from the waitress why our meal was taking too long but nothing. Maybe it was St Patrick's and a basketball tournament, and they were super busy, but I think I had waited damn too long. I'm so disappointed.

Shrimp & Grits with Andouille sausage was delicious (a little greasy, but easy enough to eat around that), and the tea from Revival was excellent. Vegan options were amazing according the my friend who got the vegan Benedict with soyrizo.

Was the last group served. Arrived at the same time this couple. They recieved their order before ours were even taken. It wasn't even busy. Only had 3 tables including ours. Still upset 2 weeks later

Great service and great food! Definitely will be back
Get ready for unique flavorful dishes that everyone at the table can appreciate. BUT be ready also for a whopping 15% service fee added to your total bill, PLUS tax and gratuity for your server. The drip coffee is very good and the staff are friendly and professional. The food arrives at the table surprisingly fast. Popping little place, but it was fairly expensive after the service fee and additional tip. These charges are explained in full on the menu. So, as much as we enjoy the great food, I doubt we'll frequent this restaurant.

This is a tough review for me to write. I really try not to say anything negative in a review. If I don't like something, then I figure others need to decide that on their own, and I don't ever want someone to read my review and decide not to try it because of something i wrote. My family and i are from Coeur d' Alene and came and stayed at the Davenport for a little Christmas family time. We googled places to have breakfast, and i found the Bruncheonette. I have to say I absolutely LOVED the food here, and I don't say that often. There are very few places I eat that I am ever as impressed as I was. I love the creatively and the twist on popular dishes. I had the chicken fried steak, while the steak was tougher than I would have liked it was the best one I've found in years. The potatoes were a nice change of pace with the sweet potatoes mixed in, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My 11 year old had the biscuits and gravy. A little mix up as she ordered it with the country gravy but they sent it with the chorizo gravy but offered to replace the whole meal but we just asked to bring some country gravy and they brought a big bowl of it. My oldest ordered the blueberry pancakes. I am not a pancake eater. Typically, they are dry and just not for me, but I took a bite just to see what they tasted like, and I couldn't stop eating them. They were by far the best pancakes I've ever had. They use big fresh blueberries in them, and they are moist and delicious. After all of that and as happy as I was with the food, I will never be back. I handed my waitress my card without looking at my bill thinking I already knew the total but when she brought me back my card with my slip to sign there was an additional 8 bucks on there that I hadn't agreed too. A FORCED gratitudy. I didn't see any signs, and I didn't see anything on the menu saying anything about it. I am an above average tipper. My son and daughter work in the industry, so I understand tipping is necessary, and I typically tip 30 percent, or more depending on the service, but that's my choice to do. Not the restaurant I'm dining in. Perhaps if I was aware of it prior to seeing that slip, it may have changed my outlook on the situation, but that wasn't the case. It may seem trivial to some people reading this review, but it's not to me. It saddens me because I would have driven from coeur d'alene just to eat there. I would go back if they take the FORCED gratuity off and let customers make the decision on tipping, as it's not something that should be required. It should be a tip for good service, not a fee the restaurant imposes on their customers no matter the service.

I got the vegan Benedict but added egg - I'm a vegetarian, not vegan. The "hollandaise" sauce on it is very mustardy. Didn't taste like your typical Benedict. Service was good, kind of pricy though.

I would give zero stars if I could. The food was disgusting the portion size compared to the price was ridiculous. Our server was uneducated about what she was serving and rude when we asked questions. Then when asked about a military discount we were given nothing but problems. I understand this is a benefit and companies don’t have to offer it but they could be a little more kind when addressing the situation. We try a new brunch place twice a month and this is the first time we felt the need to right a bad review. We will not return or recommend to anyone we know.

The food here can be really good at times and then other times it's just bland. The drinks are always on point though. I really hate that they make you pay a 16% service fee instead of just letting you tip. Be careful of that.

We walked in, the place was jam-packed... They told us it would be about a 20 minute wait... Almost 20 minutes to the second and we were set at our table. Service was awesome, food was delicious, we had two entrees each!
The only thing that wasn't perfect was my bottomless drip coffee never saw a single refill while we were eating.. I could have spoken up, sure.. but I was too busy gorging on the delicious food! That was our second visit, and we will certainly be back!
