Okay service and mediocre food. If you are going to force a 16% service fee on your customers (the owner doesn’t believe in paying livable wages for employees and relies on patrons I guess?) I expected a lot more. Definitely will not be returning.

Cute place and food was quite good. The egg scramble especially... Delicious. Sounds simple but was truly elevated. ?

The best breakfastery I’ve been to! Amazing staff that are exceptionally kind and helpful. Great food and delicious options for celiacs. Anyone in or around Joplin MUST stop here!

A great little restaurant with incredible food. The staff is always greeting you with a smile, and the food is always great. If it’s not on your recommendations list of restaurants yet, I would put it in there!

The breakfast burrito was really tasty! My wife had the chilaquilies (sp?) and that was also fabulous! Busy, and they said the wait was a long time but it was very short.

The wait list to get in was 30 to 45 min, but the food was terrific. Quite the selection of mimosas. I had pancakes with honey- butter and a side of potato medley (potato, sweet potato, and yam wedges). My friend had the tamale waffle, and she loved it. My friend and I went again, and another great meal. Highly recommend.

They add a 16% "tip" to all orders. Food is ok for the price.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast to share after a quick Google search when our first option was closed. We had quite a few options that sounded great and went for this. The servers were good but it wasn’t exceptional service. More like resigned to working versus pleased and excited to have customers; but they were young and I’m sure that comes with experience. The art was fun and funky. The bathrooms gave me a chuckle with the art. It was a large spacious area but very minimalist. I felt a little chilly. Employees didn’t seem to smile much. The food was SO good. I love biscuits and gravy and this had its own spin, can’t explain it but it was really good. The biscuit was phenomenal. Reminded me of Chaps but larger and possibly better flavor. I think they’re both great in their own way. I’m thrilled to have a closer B&G option. It was so rich and filling that I couldn’t even have my share of the breakfast sandwich so my husband had a second breakfast.I really enjoyed the potatoes being a mix of potatoes. I love sweet potatoes so that was a nice surprise.Needless to say portion sizes were generous for the price, and so tasty. We will absolutely be back. I’ve already chatted with a couple clients about it and can’t wait to try other menu items. Really happy that that our first choice was closed and led us here.Parking across the street is $2.85 for 2 hours. Lock your cars as some unsavory individuals loiter nearby.Parking: Parking across the street is $2.85 for 2 hours. Lock your cars as some unsavory individuals loiter nearby. Parking lot nearby on the same side of the street. Not sure on cost or safety but must be ok as it’s near the courthouse and jail.Kid-friendliness: Had high chairs/boosters for customers who had small children.

My total bill was over 26.00 for 1 person! . The scramble had no bacon in my eggs whatsoever and a big, gross plate of undercooked potatoes. This place is over priced and the food and service is not good. If your going to charge 20.00+ for eggs and potatoes, do it right. The service was not good either. Had to ask twice for condiments. This place makes me want to eat at home. Rip. Off.

This one is tough. There were some good aspects but overall this place fell short for me. Luckily, when we got there, a table was available. After being seated, so many people came and waited or left because the wait had to have been 30 minutes or more. The waiting area seats about 6, but at times, the area had 10-15 people crammed in this small area just inside the door. People are just watching everyone eat, and it seems awkward. People are trying to leave having a hard time getting through the waiting group just to get out the door.I ordered the pancake, bacon, and eggs for my daughter, to which I was informed she had to have scrambled eggs because it was illegal for them to serve over medium fried eggs for the kids' menu. " Illegal." So every other restaurant in Spokane is doing something illegal by allowing their guests to choose how to get their children's eggs cooked? This is a bit ridiculous. I was cooperative in the hopes the food would be awesome. The tiny pancake was thin and overcooked. The bacon was dry and was the first piece of bacon my daughter would not eat after a little taste. The eggs looked fine, but she had never preferred scrambled eggs, so she had one bite.On to my breakfast. The server suggested a cup of coffee that was delicious. Best part of the visit. My chicken fried steak was bland and had a coating that was different than I have ever had before. Gravy was also bland. My potato medley was sweet, not just because there were small pieces of sweet potato, it was like sugar was part of the seasoning. They were perfectly cooked but sweet, so gross to me. My over medium eggs were fine but also overcooked to be actually considered overhard. They have a forced 16% gratuity added as a dine in fee. I do like the kitchen staff being in on part of a tip pool. Those folks work super hard, but a forced gratuity seems tacky and presumptuous. They were definitely busy, so they must be popular with some, but we won't be back. I can find a good cup of coffee at a ton of places with wayyyy better food. I can tip 20% or more, like usual, without being forced to tip while being told what my child should eat from a menu.Kid-friendliness: Not kid approved!
