Cafe Boku Coffee and Crepes

I recently went back to Café Boku to show it off and let my sister (who’s out of town and also a coffee snob, like me 😅) try their specialty coffee. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to see that things looked and felt different from how I remembered.

The woman at the counter was nice, but her overly excited attitude came across as a little forced, unlike the genuine, down-to-earth staff I was used to when I frequented this spot.

The drink menu also felt lackluster compared to what I remembered, so we just ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee. While the iced coffee itself was good, it definitely was not a true Vietnamese iced coffee. Traditionally, Vietnamese iced coffee is made with condensed milk, which sweetens the drink and gives it its distinct flavor. Instead, she used half-and-half, which completely changed the taste.

Food is delicious! Service is slow. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes for a crepe and a coffee. If you’ve got extra time it’s worth it!

Walked in and was greeted by a handsome young man named Tristen. I asked for a mocha with cinnamon and he suggested their Zebra mocha. Its so delicious I almost finished it right there. I'll definitely be coming back.

Too expensive, too slow

Came here for a thai tea as it's a favorite of mine that you don't commonly find at most other cafes/coffee shops. Service was quick and friendly and the drink slapped. Super flavorful and the perfect amount of sweetness. Will be back!

The food was SO delicious - and the service was just as good. We had a crepe, a croffle, Italian soda and a DELICIOUS Americano. We highly recommend this place!

They have gluten free crepes, and they use a separate GF skillet/grill! They're celiac knowledgeable! Made my day :) had an iced dirty chai with coconut milk and a banana crepe. They have pebble ice! Crepe was pretty good considering it's GF and the chai latte was better than average. Definitely will go there again.

I am just visiting Spokane and saw that this place has great reviews. Lives up to the hype! The breakfast crepe is very good, and the service was exceptional. The guys working could not have been friendlier and more personable!
