Highly recommend! The service was amazing, great food and drinks, reasonably priced clean and well decorated! We will definitely be back! Even my two young boys commented on how great the service was
Great food and the service is fabulous. Jose is the nicest guy.
February 28th they made me racist! At 9:30 for some songs I asked for (Mi Ranchito & Paloma Negra) I spent two hours waiting and nothing. I just watched as they proceeded to play more songs in English and my turn never came. Why? Because the DJ PDJro karaoke (509-xxx-9308Dj Big Mike) didn't have popular Latin songs 🤣 and he has a license!! for all types of music!!! What was your problem? For being Latina? Oh your excuse was to say I don't have the music downloaded!! wtf ðŸ˜
EXCELLENT food!! And very generous portions. Now we have enough for dinner, AND tomorrow’s lunch!
My husband and I visited for the first time today and we were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked in. This is how a restaurant should be ran. You can tell that the owner, Jose, truly cares about each guest's experience. Everything about our visit was 5 stars and we can't wait to return. I highly recommend Cantarito!

We had so looked forward to our visit to this restaurant and was so disappointed. We both ordered burrito plates and found them bland and tasteless. When we complained, our waitress ghosted us and sent another to deliver our check. We did enjoy the margaritas, but the chips & salsa were sparse and we never were never asked if we wanted more. We had to ask for water and then waited forever to get it. Atmosphere was very noisy. We always compare the burritos to those at Tacos del Sol on north Division and those didn’t even come close. Obviously others have had a better experience, but ours was very bad.
Their soft taco 'special' on Tuesday is great, and their margaritas are always delish.

I so badly wanted to like this place. The reviews were pretty good and photos looked decent, but beyond the great service there wasn't much to come back for. We ordered the two recommended dishes, Tacos al Carbón and the enchiladas a la crema. The tacos seemed like they'd be dipped and crisped, but were just dipped a birria like ju without the pre or post grille crisp they so desperately needed. They had little filling and were soggy in the hand. The enchiladas a la crema were good, but nothing crazy. Just fine, but nothing to write home about. The house Marg was probably the most disappointing though. Sizeable as it was (you get a shaker of extra Marg on the side) it was sickeningly sweet. I left without finishing it which is a crime in my book! We won't make an effort to come back.

Cantarito recently opened in my neighborhood. I went there on a lunch date for the first time and was impressed by the staff and the delicious food, so we decided to go back tonight for dinner. The place was super busy (on a Wednesday), but the limited staff killed it. Everyone who worked there swapped roles and had each other's back. We were impressed with not only the food and the friendly staff, but how well everyone worked together to keep up on the demand of each other's departments. There aren't many options in the N Indian trail area for dining/drinks, so I'm very happy we now have the Cantarito.
Absolutely love the food, the staff, and the atmosphere.
Visiting from NY - great food, great flavor - owner was very hospitable and funny. If i were local it would be my jam!!! Hoping new menu is well received!!
